CALDAS NOVAS, Brazil — A bodybuilder from Brazil says he’s called a “monster” and a “beast,” and says he even terrifies children after becoming addicted to injecting his muscles with oil and alcohol.

“I remember the doctor told me that they would need to amputate both arms. They said everything in there, all my muscles, were rock.”Daily Mail reports that Romario Dos Santos Alves, 25, also faced several health issues in his quest to resemble the Incredible Hulk.

Alves said he first injected his muscles with synthol, which is a mix of oil and alcohol, about three years ago to make his muscles larger. His biceps eventually grew to 25 inches.

Using the filler began causing him constant pain and several health problems due to the toxins in the oil. It also interfered with his mental health and relationship with his wife. At one point, a doctor told him he would have to amputate his arms.

“I remember the doctor told me that they would need to amputate both arms,” he told Daily Mail. “They said everything in there, all my muscles, were rock.”

Luckily, doctors were able to remove some of the “rocks” that had formed in his arms instead.

Alves says he regrets using the synthol but still has cravings. He says he hasn’t used it in nearly two years.

What possesses someone to inject that shit is beyond me. It's not only the problems it causes but it looks straight up retarded. Too lazy to go to the gym and put in the hard yards I'll just pump myself up with filler until I look like a complete freak. There is obviously an underlying psychological issue with this individual.

I have talking about this here : https://thinksteroids.com/community/threads/side-effect-from-synthol.134365095/#post-1287706
It has a rhabodomyolysis symptom in the part injected (particulary in the arms)
Yes the story are very sad ... I can not find the words.

I think he needed psychological support, it is not the only one who had problems related to the abuse of synthol.

Clearly this guy has mental issues. There's no way a sane person would look at themselves in the mirror and think that looks good. I showed my wife a picture of this guy, and the first words out of her mouth were "what the fuck is wrong with him".

I know a few guys who use it but not to this extreme at least not yet. Don't know what's the protocol in using it but they actually stick themselves right before they work arms.

The same way I look at him as a "freak" is the same way people have looked at me for getting bigger than my frame could handle or some of those who I associate with being even larger so I try not to be judgmental while erring on the side of autonomy. However, god damn that motherfucker has rocks in his arm.

He says he wanted to look like the hulk he looks retarded wtf
What wrong with ppl now days

I understand it. It's physiological and I guarantee just about every member here suffers one form or another of it. For me in my eyes everybody is bigger than me. Even though friends and my wife tells me different I don't see it and I don't think I'll ever see it. She calls it my "little big man syndrome". If it wasn't for my physical strength I wouldn't believe I've made any gains in the last 20 years.
