my rheumatologist has me on prednisone, but i was going to start some enanthate and proviron, but was wondering if there were any contraindications with these medications?

If a rheumatologist is prescribing you prednisone, then I assume you've got some type of issue going on: joint, muscle, or whatever. You should let the doctor do his job and before jumping on the gear.
If you are HRT, then its a different story.

wtf? let the doctor do his job? i dont get it...prednisone is a corticosteroid, for inflammation, and i suppose you know what testE is...anyway, i posted in this forum cuz i was hoping Swale would read it, being a doctor and all...i really dont wanna convey my aas usage to my rheumatologist...it's a simple question really...
SWALE is a very busy physician, but he still manages to find time to help out the HRT community on the Internet. However, he has made it very clear that he wishes for all AAS topics to stay outside of this forum.
I'm not telling you to tell your rheumatologist about your AAS use; that's up to you. I was simply giving my advice that you should let the doctor do his job prior to starting an AAS cycle. I would imagine that the prednisone is only prescribed for perhaps a couple of weeks, as is ordinary, but I obviously am not certain about your particular situation.

no, it's not prescribed for just a couple weeks, and last i heard, HRT consisted of testosterone therapy, which is what i am currently doing...i could "feel" that my test levels were probably very low, so i began a minimal run of testE and 500mg/wk with some proviron...i would post this in the aas forum, but i doubt any qualified physicians frequent that area. again, it's a fairly simple question directed at a doctor who deals with testosterone usage on a daily basis...is it contraindicative with prednisone at 5mg/day?????????????????????

Anyway, no, there is no drug contradiction between prednisone and AAS. There _is_ a contradiction between inflamation and heavy weights.
I would imagine that your stats indicate that you have no business doing AAS. If I'm wrong, then I encourage you to post them over at steroidology.com.

so, no mention of what kind of "therapy" you're currently on, hmm, doubt it's much different than mine...so i have to be paying Swale to get him to comment, hmm, interesting...yeah, i suppose by coming into the "men's health" forum, i was bound to run into this pussified chatter...damn, i have rheumatoid arthritis, i take prednisone for it, my test levels are low (don't need to pay a doc hundreds of dollars to figure that out) so i decided to run a very moderate cycle and was needing some professional advice...thanks SD for the comments, to everyone else, including Swale, fuck off...
