Talk to doctor about steroids?

The usage of steroids being illegal, can we actually talk about it to our doctor? Like advice on how to take it, how to avoid side effects, etc. or would he report us to the authorities?

I am exaggerating but really what would a doctor do?

He/she would probably advise against it and will definitely not advise you how to take it. Big chance that they won't have a clue as well.

My doctor knows. She’s does be utterly livid with me, but she does does all my bloodwork for me. She is pleading with me to stay on with an endocrinologist but I keep stressing that the price of pharmacy stuff is ridiculous when my bloods clearly show that I’m ok.
