Tapering to zero iu?

I’m a total beginner, never even injected. Is it possible or advised to slowly taper your injected test all the way to zero over the course of weeks? Is that a way to come completely off cycle with minimal side effects? Or should you just stick with hcg while on cycle and take Enclomiphene post cycle?

you dont taper from test, usually the way you go about it depends on if you take hcg during the cycle, usually around 750-1k ius per week (some space it 250 ius eod, some do mwf 300iu) then wait for 3 half lives from your last injection (depends on the ester) and then take ur serm such as nolva for 4-6 weeks (some take clomid/enclo with it). for no hcg its the same but within the time ur waiting for the test to go down you prime ur balls with hcg. this is a very wattered down explanation and id suggest you do futher research on the matter.

Taper down to zero over time doesn’t make sense. Because of half-life, it naturally tapers off once you stop. You can run HCG during your cycle followed by proper PCT.

Personally, I don’t recommend cycling steroids if you‘re not willing to commit.

tapering your test down to zero doesn't really do what you think it does because as long as you're putting even a tiny bit of outside hormones in your body your natural production is gonna stay shut down. you're basically just dragging out the process of being suppressed without getting any of the benefits of a real dose. the "slow taper" is an old school myth that just leaves you feeling like garbage for longer. your best bet is definitely sticking to the hcg while you're on to keep the boys downstairs working and then running a proper pct with enclo once the test clears your system. that way you actually give your body a real signal to start making its own stuff again instead of just teasing it with lower and lower doses. definitely do some more reading on half lives before you pin anything so you know exactly when to start your pct after your last shot. welcome to the club man just keep it simple for your first go!

I’ve done some more research into pct since this post and I think I understand it better, but what do you mean by commit?

If you’re considering steroids, I believe you should commit to the sport and run at least TRT throughout the year. What’s the point of doing a few-week cycle, putting your body under strain with PCT and then slowly losing all your gains? Keep your fingers away from steroids but if you do decide to use them, do your homework and go all in.
