Teenage girls tougher than teenage boys nowadays

I don't really have the time to make a thorough post to fully explain what I am trying to convey, so I will try to keep it short, to the point, and make my claims from my constant observations (feel free to call it BS, I am not trying to change your world view, and you are free to think whatever you want of my world view).

I run a business and hire 16-20 year olds for weekend work. The reason for hiring that age group is because adults don't want to work whole day weekends, and there is zero need for any kind of experience or education, you learn everything on the job. The only thing required is that you have some grit, some curiosity, and some ability to handle simultaneity.

I have been running it for 10 years now and have had a long list of kids that have tried to work for me, mostly boys. Their lack of courage and grit is so bad, that I live in this matrix world where nobody will ever be who I was at that age, and nobody will be there in the future to do what I do. It is as if when I sell my business, there will never be a replacement, because society only has indolent people. I mean, this is horrible.

Showing up to work prepared, as in, have some food before you come, take a shower, come in time, and come prepared to bust some balls and earn your money is unthinkable. It is as if the archetype of man today is being tired, not working to earn it, not mastering new skills, and then complaining about women and their standards.

I have had so many boys come and tell me they want the job really bad, do a half assed attempt in the first day, then chicken out. They don't have the balls to say it after the first day, just be honest and say sorry but this is nothing for me. Or even to come and say it in person. Just send an SMS that they won't come, or even better just ghost me lol.

So many other boys pull shit like working for a few weeks then calling in sick in the morning of the day they'll work because they wanted to go out with their friends, knowing very well they let me hanging. Coming in day after day and hearing me give them shit because they aren't focused, aren't keeping up with everyone else and are basically a drag on the team. After a few times they stop showing that they are disappointed with themselves and act as if I will just have to put up with them because they want money. Then act all surprised when I tell them I found someone new. Worst part is instead being just a little reflective of admitting they fucked up, they see me as the bad guy.

Again, they are incomparable to me when I was their age, so you can understand that I just can't relate to this weak, softy type mentality, I can't stand it, I can't listen to it, and it makes me think we are doomed if this is what the grown men of the future will be.

A few years ago I tried the idea of hiring girls. I previously thought maybe they won't fit as the job requires some courage and grit. Lo and behold, 100 pound little females came and did the job really well. They would sweat, get stressed out, grind, and most important of all suffer. Suffer from having to face the workload and making mistakes, feeling shitty about it and coming back and defeating their own self and mastering their position.

Of course not all girls have been like this but the difference is big. I also have quite a lot of experience in finding traits when hiring, traits that are indicative of if they will fit the job. The boys will gladly fake it and make bold claims about how they will not give up et.c., while the girls will give modest answers but perform the opposite.

My rant is, we hear this constant complaining of women by men. But even if you haven't seen what I have seen with boys, you can still see the pussification of young men. We complain and complain about women (trust me, I did too and have an exotic wife from the other side of the globe because I couldn't handle them from here), but imagine if they opened up and told us their complaints about men, if they could express it, and if it could be understood...

My rant is, for these good girls I have, they will have a hard time finding a guy to match them. For me, I would be disappointed if they got with a guy who isn't a proper gentleman, which entails:

Being able to protect your girlfriend
Showing that you can provide a good future, meaning you can work hard, you can get a degree or learn a skill and be good at what you do so you are in demand, not complaining because you weren't given a good job
Having courage, being able to handle hard times and coming out stronger

Hell, even my dad told me from my sisters stories, that nowadays the girls are picking up the boys, the boys are too pussies to pick up girls.

There's a book called Enjoy the Decline, it describes the situation you're dealing with. The pussification of society through instantaneous dopamine hits. Boys are especially susceptible to the current climate weakening resolve.

Unearned dopamine has done this to them. Spectator sports, porn (also a spectator sport), participation trophies and the lie that "you're good enough ad you are sweetie" has poisoned the well so to speak.

I was lucky at 13 or 14, I was told by my dads bestest buddy "look man, you're a liability, you know effectively nothing at this age, you're doing a good job but you're rushing, ask questions and IF YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY CONFIDENT you'll finish something you'll start, ONLY then do you start it. Do it the way I showed you until you're half of my age, don't reinvent the wheel here, no need. This is the real world, things break, people get hurt, money is made"

This guy was my hero 2.0, my dads best friend, they knew each other since birth and have a crazy story, military together, families same time, I knew he loved me like he loved his own son... Who was equally retarded, so it hurt my feelings. But in that moment I knew he was keeping us safe and telling me what was right.

Strong power house mofo like uncle Vern telling me I'm a liability while trying to string barbed wire through a fence with a tractor... I was being rammy, stuff breaks, ground is uneven, it was 5am and dark, I made a mess because I was being careless, even worse uncle Vern almost got hurt. "OK Uncle Vern, I understand, can you show me"

Big thick wife beater grabbed me on the shoulder "absolutely big man, were a team here"

Uncle Vern had a wicked temper, my dad even more so. Imagine two yoked ex military, current PMC farm boys that loved whisky a little to much sometimes... Good times growing up.

When I entered the workforce I was tempered and knew I was a liability for a year or so, kept my hands out of my pockets, watched, was premeditated with my movements, swept the floors, first to work, one of the last to leave.

I just enjoyed a coffee from my $2000 espresso machine, why do I have that? Because it fit the kitchen decor and I wanted it... The only reason I could get that espresso machine is because the world is in a state of decline.

Can you imagine if every single mofo had an Uncle Vern? Or my dad who'd drag me out of bed at 4am on a school day... "Its a school day dad" "HA! School of Dad, you're coming with me, were pulling the well pump out and replacing it. Make a coffee I'll be in the barn" I was 11 years old.

Can you imagine if everyone was willing to work 60-80 hour a weeks, and be a dad, and husband, and volunteer, and drive 20 mins extra every morning to get my apprentice? It would be MUCH MUCH MUCH HARDER.

We can only influence those that respect us, and not all will. Be tactful in the dispensing of pearls, for the swine know not what they are. Do not weep for the lost, they only need to see the light to be found.

I found a 17 year old man, 2 years ago. I have told this mans story to several others and made tears, its the worst of the worst of the worst. So bad. He's bright eyed and the opposite of the boys you described. 5 minutes after I met him I thought "you are mine now" and he's been there keen and doing the best he can. Got him a Drivers license, a car and now I'm Uncle Vern and he's Heather Swanson hahaha

Enjoy the Decline!

I've got two girls not quite in their teens yet. I've done my best to raise them with good values, good work ethic, and to be responsible for their mistakes when they happen. It's 100% crystal clear that they are mentally stronger then most of the boys their age. I meet other parents and I see why. The men are overgrown children who's wives have basically replaced their mothers. They're basically a passenger in their relationship while their wife drives.

My girls see it. They come home and joke about crybaby, needy boys their age. They also comment on other people's dads. The pacification of men in this country is real. It actually worries me that my daughters will find a quality man some day to help lead their own family. Best I can do is be the best example of what a husband and father should be, so they at least understand what standards they should have.
