Test and Longevity

Swale,

I was blessed with a 2.1 HDL/LDL ratio, low blood pressure (I'm 60, and it is usually 110/65 upon rising. These data fortell a good shot at longevity.

So, my question is firstly, is there any data to correlating total testosterone level and longevity?

Secondly, how do injections of Test Enan (amount) influence test levels.
For instance, my current Total Testosterone is 294. I haven't done a cycle in a year. My libido is minimal at this level. No other symptoms.

I would like to get my Total Test up to high normal 700-800. How much enanthate do I need to shoot a week to get there? Should I split an amp and shoot 125 ml a week?

At the 800 level, I would not expect any negative effect on my HDL nor should that compromise the genetic advantages I have. But I would like to hear the opinion of a knowledgable physician.

I’m under a specialist clinic in the UK run purely by doctors. Generally they start people on 80-10mg/week depending on the result of a comprehensive blood test.
They recommend that weekly dose is split at least into two shots per week, but advise the more frequent the better.
When I was prescribed Testex, that came in small glass ampoules which I decanted into 10ml sterile vials so as not to waste any. You can do the same with Test E.
As far as health benefits of having optimal testosterone levels, you’ve got retention of muscle mass which serves fat metabolism and insulin sensitivity, preservation of bone mineral density, and mental health to name a few.

This should read 80-100mg/week. Couldn’t go back and edit for some reason.

fwiw my urologist offered me testosterone replacement 5 years ago. i adamantly rejected it, thought i was plenty manly enough and didnt want to risk "roid rage" around my young daughters for whom i am the only parent.

i raised all kinds of concerns over the course of the conversation. hair falling out, pink skin, heart attacks, roid rage, getting "too big," and on and on.

he made it VERY clear that the health outcomes for low testosterone were far worse than for high or even too high testosterone. i sometimes wonder why i was so adamant. it was likely just my concern for my daughters, and now that they're older im more confident in both my parenting ability and their resilience....but still, his testimony stuck with me

hope you're still out there crushing it taoseeker, and if not, this next shot is for you!

Why would you open pharma ampoules to put in vials ?

The ampoules are too big for a single shot of a TRT dose, especially if you’re microdosing, and they’re not resealable. So you either pre-load a number of syringes or transfer into a sterile multi-dose vial.

You can pre-load your syringes, or use one syringe for more injects, no problem. Most ampoules are a bit more than 1ml

Exactly. There is some concern that the preservative in the medication causes deterioration of the rubber in the syringe, so personally I would rather transfer a number of ampoules into a sterile vile.
