Test C replacement Perimenopause

I’ve been learning about TRT for women, as both my sister and my lady are having less than productive outcomes with their doctors and their hormones as they go through menopause. We are treating efforts at test replacement as our own private medical study, since the research into female TRT is so freakin limited.

I used some advice given in a different thread on how to dilute my own pharma test C cream, and my lady has been using it ED. The diluted dosage is 5mg/day, and she applies it to her inner thighs or backs of knees before bed, rotating application sites. She likes the better sleep, increased sexual desire, and sense of what she called “empowerment.”

Our question is: should she be using the cream every day, eod, just post-period? Cycling on and off? Continuously?

All information is appreciated!

Unfortunately this isn’t getting much traction, but in case someone see this in their own search, my lady has decided to use the Test C cream as a cycle rather than as an indefinite. Mimicking the female body’s own testosterone cycles, she will use the cream starting on the first day of her period, every day for 15 days. This allows the body to build up her T levels in the same way it would during that phase if she had normal T levels naturally.

After 15 days she will stop the T cream and let the levels reduce in much the same way they would naturally. And repeat every month.

She had initially just started randomly with no schedule in mind, but ended having a more severe period than she normally experiences. This caused her enough concern that we did more research into how/when the female body produces T naturally so she could best mimic what the body should be doing on its own.

It would be great to know how your lady is getting on?

Interesting topic. I had this article in the back of my head, maybe that drives this topic into a certain direction:

A TRT dose of "femtest" (testosterone enanthate 10mg/ml - diluted) would be 2-3mg/week, just to give you a perspective.

I do not know however any cases including this protocol or product.

It isnt just test you have to worry about. You'll have to research more on womens hormones and do LOTS of blood work.

Estrogen, progesterone, pregnenalone, DHEA, might as well check B12, vit D, and a full thyroid panel also. I'd also check all other basics aswell. CBC, CMP, Lipids, and A1C.

We were dumb and put my old lady on 5mg test c a week and never pulled bloods. She liked it, I liked it, but we really should have done it the smart way and ran blood work.

We got her off everything and pulled a shit load of info out of her natty blood work and are going from there.

Once we get all the information, we will make a collective decision on what to change and the check again after what we have changed.

Follow the basic scientific method and go from there.

Everyone is different. 5mg of test C a week could grow another woman a mustache and drop her voice a couple octaves. 5mg for her, she had no effects other than increased libido, a more sensitive clit, and mild acne occasionally.

Blood work isnt cheap, but some side effects are permanent. Good thing you're doing a cream that she can drop immediately if she does have side effects. With longer esters, you'll have to wait for the ester and hormone to clear to stop unwanted side effects.

Good luck with everything man. This isnt easy or cheap.

My Wife is being treated by her gynecologist for TRT. She is prescribed estrogen, progesterone and testosterone. Labs drive the dose she takes.
My wife is getting the same, though she had to push very hard to get the Dr to agree. I don’t think she’s had labs since starting, and hasn’t mentioned any schedule for getting them. I’ll have to ask about that.

It’s been a real improvement for her, and for our sex life, too. All the peri stuff that was getting in the way — low drive, dryness, mood shifts — have been reversed. HRT has made both of us feel 10-15 years younger.

My wife was prescribed a compounded troche with the three combined to be taken before bed. It has definitely made a difference. Her sisters are asking about it now.
