Starting to get kind of self conscious about my fat percentage, so Im going to cut my calories back and follow my macros. Im also going to lift faster and include more cardio
 
Just got taped
15.6 I need to eat cleaner...gained about 3% body fat. I don't really understand because I have been very very clean at 4100 calories.

Most guys just eat too much, period. 4100 is pretty high for losing bodyfat, I keep it around 2500-2800/day and I'm 220 lbs. We always seem to carry more than we think, I'll be dieting for weeks and weeks and its like "WTF, my abs still are not in?" Once you get down to 7-8% the changes start coming on much faster, week to week and eventually day to day. When every little thing you do throws your look one way or another, thats when you know your getting lean!!!
 
Alright so my cycle is 16 weeks ending on May 10th, I will be using anavar for 4 weeks after April 27-May 24 60mg ED. This should be a nice bridge into PCT. Which will begin the 5th of June.
 
If my suspicions are correct you will be using the Burr approach to PCT which includes THREE SERMS and the HMG/HCG combo, right?

I'm curious about opinions on deloads during a cycle- and I know there's a bit of a difference if you're trying to cut down and are keeping intake low.

I'd been deloading monthly with a 5/3/1 routine for about 9-10 months now and it's worked well. On cycle I've skipped the first deload and went right in to a new round with weight increases.

I had planned on continuing this way as long as progress was good and things felt ok, which makes sense; but I know there are other things to consider (ligaments/tendons) that may justify giving yourself a break from continually increased intensity as more of a long term approach.

In my opinion deloads are essential for cycle. Because the strength gains come so fast you need to have a program in place that will not allow you to make to large jumps for the sake of your ligaments and tendons. I went from a 5 rep max bench at 225 to 260, I want big gains but I want to try to limit as much stress as possible. Im wrestling with Petellar tendonitis in my left knee right now so I am happy it is my deload week. Just because its a deload week does not mean im not lifting, I just drop weight and volume. Just my .02 cents.

I was not doing one rep maxes, 325 was easy, I train squats at lower weight due to a very bad knee. I go with rep maxes 325 is my 5 rep max.

Saturday is a volume day, weight is at 230 and seems to be steady. I have a 300 pound clean and jerk goal by December and I will far surpass that. I feel confident that I will keep most of my strength gains and I will be okay with loosing 5-10 pounds of weight after water weight goes away. A couple guy I train with have been on HGH for some time now, if I had the money I would deff go that route. Starting VAR on April 27th, Test ends on May 10, start PCT June 5.
