I just got 4 vials of test from a good friend, he had nothing but vials with screw-on tops to put it in.

Do I need to do anything differently?

I just screw open the top, insert sterile needle, withdraw, and quickly put the top back on.......

Any greater chance of infection?

Thanks!

If you are not in a clean room environment it is probable that it will become contaminated. I would strongly suggest getting a sterile vial and doing a filtered transfer with vented heat at 250 degrees for 30 mins.

Can't be any worst than amps when they are cracked open. Mostly all human grade gear is in an open enviroment while drawing into a syringe.

It would be better to purchase a 50ml sterile sealed vial and shoot it all into there and heat it in oven to be safe though.

Sounds like **'s gear. I've never had a problem with infection. Just make sure to use sterile tecnique.
