Test only cycle experience

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to put it my own experience of my Test E only cycle, 400mg/wk for 10 weeks.
First off, I’m a personal trainer, and the reason I did this was more of an experimental thing. I’d never touched steroids before and I won’t again, but it’s always good to have first hand experience of something for when clients ask.
My honest opinion is that on a Test only cycle, the results are good to an extent, but not everything some users try hype it up to be. I believe that weight gain itself on Test is what makes the results seem incredible, but when it comes to size gains, it really isn’t that much to shout about.
I put on a good 26lbs in the cycle, eating at a 500 calorie surplus a day, obviously upping the calories each week dependant on what the scales were saying. As good as the weight gains sounds, the actual physical change wasn’t that great. I don’t know if this is because I’m already at my genetic muscle max naturally, but the physical appearance change definitely wasn’t as good as the scale would of had me believe.
Would be good to here some feedback from other guys who have done a Test only cycle, and other guys who have also done a Test cycle with dBol or Tren, who can compare their experiences!
Thanks for taking the time to read!
Time for the PCT and back to being a ‘Natty’, as they say ;)

Not really sure what you were expecting from a 10 week 400mg test only cycle? I would say putting on 26 pounds, even if you only manage to keep 6 pounds of it after pct would still be a nice gain for what your cycle was. Nobody ever got freaky and went pro after one cycle. AAS is an accumulation thing, over time, a lot more then 10 weeks once.

As I said, was just experimental. And obviously reading people on forums (obviously trolls), saying about how they managed to put on X amount of muscle and keep all of it etc. I was just eager to find out the truth.
Thanks for the reply :)

I didn't even come close to putting on 26lbs. More like 14. And I ran it for 14 weeks at 500/wk. Everyone's results will be very different.

I have a friend that didn't gain hardly anything. Then there's my brother that blows up on just about any steroid. Its genetics man. You either get along with it or you don't. Or somewhere in between.

And how do you put on 26lbs and not notice much of a physical difference? I don't follow.

I honestly wouldn't expect much at only 10 weeks and 400mg/wk. If you decide to run it again up the dose to 500 and run it for 12-14 weeks. Change esters 10 weeks in and the gains may continue.

How much have you been able to hold onto? What was your starting weight? Did you run an AI and HCG throughout?

Only just starting PCT, so will be interesting to find out what I keep on to. I was using Arimidex at .25 EOD.
Appearance wise I was keeping picture logs every week. Obviously I did muscle gain and T-shirt’s and jumpers were getting a little tighter, but I just want to get across that sometimes the amount of weight gain that people hear of, doesn’t always mean massive muscle gain.
26lbs to a newbie would sound like I should of gone from an average guy to the hulk, when in reality it isn’t really that much at all. This was the point I was trying to get through.
Cheers though for the feedback :)

The scale is probably the last thing I consider when speaking to utilizing this or that. As a trainer, I'm sure you know that caloric intake determines that completely.

What I will speak to though is how one feels/performs. That's most important in my mind. T only cycles will probably feel best for MOST. Some will say T/Mast, some EQ/Test, Test/Dbol, hell some even say T/Tren. It all depends. I don't think you need to hear from others per say, I think you were already going down the right road........meaning try it for yourself.

And not to thwart your intentions.....but good luck making that your ONLY cycle. Not saying you won't, but seeing your profession and curious mind being where they are..........good luck.

I didn't notice significant changes in my physique either. But everyone else did. Yeah, shirt sleeves were tighter. But it went away after PCT. I didn't hold onto as much as I thought I would. Kinda sucked. Hope you keep some of those gains!

Running EQ now and hoping to hold onto more of the muscle gain and strength. I have no desire to touch Tren or 19nors even though I know I would blow up on those compounds. I PCT so no thanks!
