Testosterone Suspension for TRT

Hello all,

Some background first:

September 2003 Blood test results, Hypogonadism
October 2003 MRI Empty Sella Syndrome
October 2003 Started on Androgel 5g a day, needed 10g day
December 2003 Started on 75mg of Testosterone Cypionate every 7 days

From Dec 03 i have been using myself as a test bench to try out different protocols. One was to inject T-Cyp at 50mg every 3-4 days and also sub-q.

Now i am on T-Suspension 10mg sub-q each day. I take the shot in the morning and as late as noon. Made it myself it is 50mg/mil. The injection amount is .2 CC.

So far this seems to work fine, do not feel like it is too much or too little. The improvements are:

Lost lots of water, no more ankle swelling.
BP is down.
Heart rate is down.
Less acne to almost none.
Less delayed or retarded ejaculation.
More penile sensitivity.
Cheap. (if you make your own)
Shorter Refractory period.
Sub-Q not IM.

The issues: YMMV

Inject once a day (might work EOD)
Slight pain at injection site.
Less horney. (no effect on performance)
Expensive. (not if you make your own)

Still using HCG and Anastrozole as part of TRT.
Also use Thyroid (1/4 grain), Hydrocortisone (5-10mg), Ephedrine (5-10mg)

Cheers,

EndoMan

HCG at 800iu once a week.

Yea, doing a sub-q shot each day is not perfect.
I do shots eveyday I do a T shot 50mgs every 3 days and HCG 400 IU's the 2 days in between. No problem I use a 27g 1ml x 1/2" needle for both T and HCG into my thigh.

Still doing one shot of ~10mg sub-q each day. It is 100mg per mil in water.

Do get a knot where at the injection site once in awhile, if i rub it in after the injection to spread it out then the knot does not form or is small.

Will dilute it to make it 50mg per mil later to see if the knots don't form.

Will also try a .22 filter to see if that takes care of knots.

The cost of the testosterone base powder to make a years supply is around $4.00 USD

It is around $1.00 USD a gram, would need around 3.65 grams a year so i round it to 4 grams to cover waste.

The BA, BB, water, filters, scale, etc will run around $200.00 USD for your lifetime.

You can get fancy and spend more of course.

Have made some very nice t-cream at 50mg per mil with DMSO as the solvent, it works quite nice too.

Please tell me your recipe for T-cream.

The T-Cream is rather simple in that i use as much DMSO as is needed to totally disoolve the t-base powder.

This will result in a perfectly clear liquid.

At this point all one has to do is add in the cream till you have a semi soild cream that is not fluid.

The cream is just PLO cream. Diffusimax is a very good one, but rather expensive.

You can make from 50mg per mil to 200mg per mil no problem this way.

EndoMan how do you do your HCG. I am on 2 grains of Armour 60 mgs. in the morning and 60mgs at late afternoon. I do Isocort 4 pills in the morning and 2 at noon and dinner = 20mgs. of cortisol. Yet still in the morings I am very fatigued my Glucose fasting is low normal in the morning 60 range 65 to 140 mg/dl. I was hopeing the cortisol would help with this I am Hypopituitary from a bad head injury do you feel good in the mornings.

pmgamwe18, 500iu once or twice a week. HCG is great to keep the boys larger then they would be without it. The other good things about HCG is slightly higher ejuculation volume, and maybe a better overall feeling of wellbeing.

Almost every morning is great for me if i get to bed on time and get at least 7 hours of sleep. I fall asleep fast and when i wake up i am one my feet in seconds. My wife freaks out about how i wake up.

You could try to reduce the cortisol, as 20mg may make you tired. 5mg might be enough, and should take it only when you feel you need it, like in the afternoon or if you feel a little anxious or if you get startled by something.

If you drink coffee and or any soft drinks or fruit drinks, you will need to stop these altogether.

Adding DHEA can help with energy levels.

Adding melatonin at bedtime can increase plasma glucose levels.

Here is what I am doing I do a 50mg shot of Depo T every 3 days and 400 IU's of HCG the 2 days in between. I take 25mgs. of DHEA 2x's a day, I am at 2 grains of Armour for Thyroid and Take Isocort 4 pills in the morning = 10 mgs. of cortisol and 2 pills = 5mgs of cortisol at noon and dinner. I have a Hypopituitary problem due to a bad head injury some 23 yrs. ago. I feel bad most mornings I feel because my Glucose is so low in the morning. My TRT is working the best ever doing this for the last yr. it's keeping my levels steady and my E2 lower not taking so much Arimidex now only doing .25mgs evey 3 days. I am switching to HC to see if this works better. I seem to do much better after eating in the morning. But have morning where I wake up in a bad sweat at 3am was told this is Panic but now I feel it is low sugar. I started keeping a Protein bar on my night stand and when I wake up at 3am take a few bits of this and get some relief fast. I have the book Safe Uses of Corisol and in the book the Dr. states Low Glucose gets better on 5mgs of cortisol 4 times a day. So I am droping the Isocort and hoping this works better.

Two possible way to look at this.

1. You are taking to much cortisol which can cause fatigue.

To test this you have to start lowering your dose and see if your mornings get better, it may at first get worse but over a week or two without the added cortisol it should improve. Then add it back as needed only. I do 5mg a day as needed.

2. Isocort is not working for you and is not giving you enough cortisol.

Switch to Hydrocortisone.

Also melatonin can make a great difference, would have to test at 3,6,,9,12mg to see what your best dose is. Do not try the melatonin till you try lowering the cortisol first so you can guage what effect each one has by itself.

I have had a number of people tell me the isocort is not doing a good job so next week I am going to switch to HC and see it this helps. Still my Engery is better then before doing he Isocort.

I am also told when I get my Thyroid levels up I will feel better. It's a slow process doing Armour can only go up on the dose every 2 to 4 weeks.

This is probably hypoglycemia during your sleep. Try eating some protein before bed, like a peanut butter sandwich on whole wheat bread (sugar free bread) with lots of peanut butter (sugar free peanut butter). You could also try a cup of yogurt before bed. If you wake up during the evening, try some yogurt.

This should actually not be happening after being on cortisol for a little while. You should not need to take more than 20mg per day, otherwise you may shut yourself down. I have never taken more than 10mg per day (5mg in morning and 5mg at noon). I now only take 5 mg in the morning.

Thanks 1cc your right I had to go for a fasting blood test this morning. I woke up in a sweat feeling panic at 4 am this morning. Got past it with out food or meds and woke up at 7:30 in dam bad shape. I had my wife drive me to the Dr.'s for the test I could not drive I took my meds with me and Protein bar to eat after the test. I was so bad in the office they got the Dr. he did a quick test of my sugar and gave me some glucose syrup. Wow this brought me up but on the way home I crashed. He did not say what my Surger was but I am guessing it was dam low. I will need to eat some protein before bed but lately I have had Reflux so Penut butter is out I am going to try some Ham lunch meat before I go to bed tonight. I think the Isocort is not the same as HC just got a Email my HC is in the mail but can take up to 2 weeks to get here.

Get adjustable bed.
I sleep on adjustable bed for the last 15 years.
Not very comfortable, screws my back, but beats reflux.
Often I can eat and go straight to bed.

That is next my wife and I were talking about this just the other day but not for reflux. What kind of bed did you get.

About acid reflux, had that bad for a few years, would wake up gasping for air, very nasty.

It is cured now for me. The two things i did to fix it are.

1. No food after 8pm
2. Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) a teaspoon in 2 cups of water 2-4 times a day. It works great. Have a large glass of distilled water mixed with ACV on the nightstand.
