Just wanted to say thanks. I've been a lurker for a while. I have learned a lot by reading here and it has helped me to manage my goals and actions while reducing harm to myself and the community.
Me:
I'm part of the 40+ crew, prior military and started lifting weights when I was 28. I started at 167lbs and due to the military began with cross fit and then functional strength training before moving more towards bodybuilding.
I made a lot of newbie mistakes along the way, but managed to go through a few bulking and cutting cycles over the past decade that now has me at 215lbs. I have been as high as 245lb with about 28% BF, and as low as 185lb around 10% BF.
All of that was was with typical natty supplements and test boosters here and there along the way. I would guess I'm 18-22% bf. I do a 3-pollock that puts me at 8%, my smart scale says I'm at 24%. I know neither of them is accurate, but I watch the caliper changes and scale trends. I also measure arms, chest, waist, thighs, and calves.. just to keep an idea of what's working.
I track all foods and drinks and workouts. Currently eating my BMR of 2400 calories (I've weighed most of my foods for a while, so I should be pretty close even when eye balling meats). Apple Watch has me burning an additional 1k calories on top of that bmr, but I think it's closer 500 cals. I don't smoke or drink or eat processed foods.
I eat my body weight in grams of protein. Take fish oils, started P5P - bad prolactin levels, a slew of other typical body building herbs/ sups.
Currently I work out a 3x1 split that repeats body parts but changes sets / reps. Shoulder / Chest / Triceps, Back / Biceps / Abs, Quads / Hams / Calves. First 3 x 1 has 5-7 super sets and lower reps ( 5-7 each) the second 3 x 1 is more for volume 10 sets by 10-12 reps.
Current Goals:
Since December (after an injury and getting fat), starting at 235 and 26+% BF I have ran 1 cut for 16 weeks, using sarms for the last 8 weeks for the first time with no test base (I have no test). I did a reset for 8 weeks before going into the second phase of cutting.
I am 4 weeks into the second part of my cut. I started at 208lbs - but gained 8 pounds of water weight (started test / mk-677). So I'm at 215.5 right now.
I will be cutting for another 8 weeks and would like to get down to 207lbs and 11-13% eyeball BF. I am trying to keep my cals above 2k for this, so I will slowly pick up more cardio. I get 8.5k steps in a day, and was doing 15 minutes of cardio at the end of workouts - but got some old man injuries flaring up that had me cut the cardio for the time being and modifying some of my lifts.
I have no test low test - from pituitary damage from a significant blast (hit by 3K of explosives not PED Blast) injury that also damaged my optic nerves. I am working with endocrinologist to get on Pharma TRT. Going through the endo is financially better for me than going through a clinic.
Recently (4 weeks ago), started for the first time ever - while I'm waiting on the endo to work out, home-brew 200mg/ml Test C (mct 2/20 ba/bb).
Doing daily pins, subq / shallow IM along with 500iu HCG. Running this with mk-677 (I was 208 when I started this cut with test / mk 4 weeks ago. Mk always makes me throw on about 5-6lbs of water. I assume the other 2-3lbs is from the test).
I like MK on a cut - the hunger doesn't bother me. I want to preserve as much muscle as possible, when I cut, with out boosters / sarms / or something I lose muscle quicker than fat and end up skinny fat. 4 weeks in - I am not losing muscle.. Volume has gone up - first time on test... Probably all water right now, but I look bigger.
I consider this more of a mini-blast than trt. After this cut, I want to drop down around 125/140mg a week to find a cruising dose. But honestly - after a decade of dealing with this - I wanted to feel like I used too. I know cutting doesn't need 200mg - more diet than anything, but - I'm justifying it as preserving muscle...
Just did labs today (4 weeks in)(just hormones), to see how this dose is working for me. But, mood is great, libido is great, lifts are great.
Long Term:
Long term I want to get back up to 230-245, but with 10% BF.
I intend on going TRT+ / blast / cruise.

My baseline bloodwork prior to Sarms - no test boosters, etc.
I run bad lipids and BP genetically since childhood. Just started BP medicine and statins. However, historically I'm HDL < 40 and LDL > 130 and Total 230ish. Sarms ran me higher - HDL < 20 and LDL > 190 and Total 270.
BP I typically run 130/75, but Sarms ran 140 / 80.
Labs after Sarms and after PCT:
A couple of pics added below - starting pics were 235lbs and guessing 28% BF.. 6 months later, one cut, a reset and beginning of second cut, 215 (8lbs water weight) guessing 18% BF.
Glad to be here and to learn... Now back to reading more and posting less.
