I just wanted to throw out a thanks and bump toyou guys for all the diet and nutrition advice. I was 285 with 25% bf roughly a few weeks ago. I took you guys advice form the lets get the ball rolling thread. Also threw in 500mg of test a week with some clen, to keep the energy levels and muscle loss to a minimum. I am happy to say currently i am standing at 291 and 19% thank again guys your insight has helped me more then you'll ever know. The ketogenic diet really is amazing. I don't think with out the keto diet I would have been able to pull this off. Thanks again you guys I will update this in a few more weeks.
 
Excellent progress, dude! That equates to a loss of 16 pounds of fat loss and a whopping 20-22 pounds of lean mass gain! What period of time was this done over?

How did you measure your bodyfat?
 
Good job, my man! Hell of a good effect, I'd say.

Do you find clen to be good for your energy? I used it once and all I got was the shakes, but no energy. I'm more of a fan of ECA.

Well I have been dieting since Feb 1st and starting using keto right after. I have been on the test for almost 4 weeks or so. I have been using clen cycling it since feb 1st

I used a set of skin calipers from fitness fatcory outlet. Its a rough estimate though. I never trust myself when I do it. I will get a body dip done when I wanna see the for real deal on the bf%
 
Thats a hell of a change for only 5-6 weeks!

How many sites did you test with the calipers?
 
I turn into a mad man from clen. I find that I just wanna fly off the handle when I am on it. So I have to take major time outs all the time at work. Yeah I feel like i am just switched on for like 12 hours or something. Stuffs crazy.
 
waist and under arm and thigh did an average of three of each
the high end I had a 20.5 or something. I think its closer to 20% personally but I am still pumped about it either way

Wow, in only a few weeks? Bob, Grizzly you guys gotta let me in on the secrets.
 
LOL actaully, Grizzly I think it was the "Your endanger of becoming a mega fat asswith a bf that high" line that really did it.

Just got my bf checked after 3 weeks on the CKD but i really only had the diet right for 2 weeks. I ate about 5 boxes of girl scout cookies on my first refeed. oops. Bf went from 15.3% to 13.2% same guy at Gold's did it. 4 points, gut, underneath shoulder blade, bicep and tricep. don't know if those are the best places to choose from. he seemed to know what he was doing. Anyway, thanks Bob and Grizz for all the food and training advice. I am shooting for single digit bf%. Now that i see progress, it helps with the hunger pains and cravings during the week.
 
Good job, Res. That's some good progress. I don't see the point of the bicep AND tricep measurements. I'd think that it would be better to do Chest, tricep, sub-scapular(under shoulder blade), adbdominal and thigh.
 
7 sites...pec, subscapular, mid-axillary, tri, ab, hip, quad.

Other sites that Ive seen tested...bi, lower back, hamstring, calf.

Ill see if I can find a link to some pictures and description.
 
Wic, with the 4 sites you tested, what was your original millimeter count and what is it now?

Thanks. It is like pulling teeth to get the guy at Gold's to do it for me. I figure it is better to stick with the same operator and places though. At least I can tell which way I am going even if it is off. I had a electrical impulse scale but those things really suck. Always way off. Huge rip off.

Bob, How does alcohol affect the refeeds? St. Patty's Day is coming up soon. I guess I can take gatorade and bagels with me.
