Beltran was only linked to a Canadian doctor Anthony Galea - same one who treated Tiger Woods - who was indicted by the feds after his assistant was caught smuggling hGH across the border.

4 out of five...... jeter is the only one on that list with zero allegations.

what jeter accomplished is record book history without a doubt, although achievable.. But compared to the other users such as barry, arod and manny, unheard of. At least naturally.

All was extremely entertaining at the least. Actually baseball has gone down hill since as entertainment. And the replay additions have taken from the game.

Jeter played during an era where statistics were inflated due to aas usage. Put jeter in a time machine back in time and he would be easily a Micky mantle or a joe. Nonetheless he remains the modern version of them in the the NY. Jeter is a god up there. Freaking babies named after him left and right.

For sure he was overshadowed by steroid numbers... but anyone on that list would take his world series rings and clean record with resulting fan worship over their paltry if any w.s. ring count and allegations of aas abuse. Lets not forget his couple of gold gloves and batting titles. Barry bonds was a dickhead with no rings, manny ramirez was just a dickhead, beltran never did anything of note except being on this list and a rod was quite a big waste of money to say the least. IMO jeter is the only one who earned his money.

As much as i hate arod, he saw an opportunity and seized it with no restrictions to steroid use in baseball during his prime and you gotta give them credit to some extent. Also they made baseball a whole lot more interesting

Right on, AROD attempted to do it for the glory, and he also fabricated his life to reach that but failed miserably due to his character. Cant be a dick and a bullshitter and expose yourself to the public as one if your intentions are to be recognized as a legend.
