THE ANSWER

I agree^^^^ but I just don't see mainstream voters going outside the box. Too many special interest groups would stand to lose too much. Of course, it's all BS as long as the house and senate members maintain their running status, were fucked!

Very true. That's really why I'm pushing Rand more than TC. Rand is actually leading Hillary in a few swing states. He also has a lot of support from liberals, who are leaning more libertarian.

Don't worry though. The Republican establishment will be sure to give us a Jeb Bush type for the nominee. Maybe even Marco Rubio, who's also big government as far as I'm concerned. Uggghhhh thinking about it makes me nauseous. What gives me hope is the growing constitutionalist and libertarian base. Hopefully, it won't be too late

I try to be optimistic, but that growing community you described is still in the adolescent stage and is not equipped to take on the machines of both parties. My hope is we see major reform within my lifetime. Starting with term limits and booting all the career pols out of office.

You've got it. Rand is pushing term limits for Congress, which I love. To me, that's proof that you're not in Washington to line your own pockets and make a career out of corruption.

The House and the Senate make the rules that govern them. To reduce their power would be a positive step. We can dream...

Fact is, we're now $19 Trillion in national debt, over $100 Trillion in unfunded liabilities, 93 million Americans dropped out of work force, 50 million Americans on food stamps, nsa, IRS, the list goes on. How anyone supports a candidate proposing more gov regulations, more gov entities, more taxes (basically status quo from the prior two administrations) is beyond me.

Civilizations rise and fall. Once societies lose their cultural confidence, they never get it back.

With the exception of the United States, the West has been in steady decline since the end of the First World War. Now the US is finally catching up. The West is old, tired and weak. No longer confident, it concerns itself with trivial matters like gay marriage, abortion and the legalization of marijuana while ignoring the very real existential threats it faces. The West had a good run but the writing is on the wall.
