the new guy/source's guide to posting in the underground

for the new guy:
first of all, you probably shouldn't start in the underground at all. if you insist on doing it anyway, dont post about a source. you have zero credibility already, posting about a source now will bring you well into the minus, and will hurt the source.
venture into the other sections, start off with an introduction, spend some time on the boards, and then maybe some day, you get that vibe from people around you that they listen to what you say. if you get to that point, then its time to venture into the underground, for something more than just reading.
if you absolutely must venture into the underground as a newbie, here's what you ABSOLUTELY DO NOT DO! you do not say anything positive about a source, you do not say anything negative about a source unless you have proof to back it up, you do not ask about an unknown source, and for your own sake, do not bring up e-roids!

for the sources:
first you get a rep, or you yourself hang around the board, answer questions, and deal with the inevitable shitstorm. then you tell all your shills to stay away, never asks for anything to be removed from the threads, if you are asked for your credentials and you can only provide such from boards known to have housed scams, you will provide it without trying to talk up the legitimacy of said boards, if you have none you will be honest about it, and for your own sake, do not bring up e-roids!

Soooooooooo don't post anything relevant to the purpose of this board... Got it. If you can't, in anyway, contribute to a topic, I can see why newbies shouldn't start out in the underground! I read up enough before joining to know there are a lot of people on here that live and breathe this stuff, which is why I, personally, am here - to learn. It just seemed this place was no nonsense, which I like. Plus, it's pretty entertaining to read the way new sources and their shills are handled here in the underground. So you won't need to worry about me ever 'pushing' a source, or trying to give advice. I hope my posts didn't come off that way. I'm just a skepticle consumer looking to learn as much as possible about sources before I take a HUGE risk with them, as are many others.

So, know that your advice is noted. Apologies if I offended anyone. If i post in the Underground, I'll be sure and stick to random discussion of hoes, alcohol, rock n roll, and/or politics until I gain some 'cred'

Sincerely,
Fckit

yeah, wasnt aimed at you in specific. more at the sudden influx of new sources being followed by fanboys thinking that they need to talk up the source. (and i do choose to believe that at least some of them are just idiots thinking they can get on a sources good side by advertising them.)

Lol I gotcha. I read it and was like, damn! I'm pretty much guilty of everything listed!

Very good grasshopper [:o)]

You've been around here long enough to see how a lot of these sources/labs operate. We may seem rough on them, but you've seen enough of their trickery to know why.

This place is like the spotting bullshit University, when you guys leave here or go somewhere else you'll see right through the lies :)

Skofan I agree. Personally I think that it there should be a certain amount of points to even have access to the underground forum IMO

On another board I frequent there's a 50 or 100 post rule before you can post in the UG review section. Its not perfect, but it cuts out situations like we had with UGF where he asked all of his toadies to come here and support him.

knowing what I know now and looking back on my first few posts regarding my experience with SF I want to crawl under a rock and die in shame. i was all like: oh man, SF is sssooooo greaattttt, they are soooo nice, they even tucked me in last night, i loooove those guys!!!!! Mind you, all i had done at this point was order, lol. Fuckin shameful.

we live and learn. great post skofan. and stretch, thanks for tucking me in big guy;)

im not leaving!

well i understand the concept of needing so many posts before being able to come into a ug section.however, thats what took me so long to join.and although i have made some purchases i have yet to say nething about them.and i still wont.like i said even tho AAS im new to......im def not new to this game.u dont know the ropes........learn them before getting yourself involved in anything of the sort.i appreciate all of you guys.and i def like reading all the posts

you dont just need a lot of post to earn trust. you either need a lot of posts without saying anything stupid, or a few posts saying something intelligent.

also, protip: if you're new, stating that you arent new to the game/have been a lurker for a long time isnt a good idea. the majority of the guys that does that doesnt sound too much like they imply they should.
and another protip, inspired straight from a pm i just got (i dont consider myself a vet), but if you're unsure how to handle stuff, pm a vet and ask for advice... dont ask people to do stuff for you, ask them to tell you how to help yourself. something tells me that they will be much more willing to help you out with that ;)
without saying too much, the pm stated, could you give me some pointers on how this forum works. and that made me want to help!

i agree.not trying to come off arrogant at all.im def a newb when it comes to this.

not trying to bash you. if anyone is arrogant, its me, im a newbie, trying to lecture other newbies.

just put it in, because its a mistake i see happen a lot, and i see the same type of response every time.

You have like 200 posts.. And have been a member here for like 5 minutes. Who are you to offer advice to anyone on what they should or shouldn't do? What gives you the right to set guidelines for anyone?

Maybe you should sit back and take your own advice...

BigKarch.. how have ya been old timer?

I've got much respect for BigK....just cuz you dropped his name and piggy backed his post only means you're a dick rider as far as I'm concerned. I suppose some could be impressed with you being DP'd by bigK(no disrespect) and John from OLM?
I''ll bet my membership here that BiGK would rather his name and business not be mentioned along with John and OLM. ASK HIM.
You're out of touch...

and heck im not the one putting up these guidelines either, but noone else is taking the time to tell the new guy how not to screw up completely.
if i take some heat sharing what i learned for the brief time ive been around, so be it.

5 minutes? You must have a learning disability... You don't even offer advise, all you do is talk shit.
