"The Rock" (WWF/actor) and steroids today...

Just saw the movie "Walking Tall." Awesome flick BTW. "The Rock" is definately the next Arnie when it comes to ass-kicking flicks us guys all grew up on. This may be a somewhat "laughable" question, but please guys bear with me here as I have good reason....

I have no doubts Rock juiced when he was still in his WWF wrestling career. You absolutely have to. Just to compete at that level, even if you are born "big" you still have to use gear. Anyone that thinks people in profesional sports/and or "sport-type" entertainment do not use steroids or any performanancing enhancing drug(s) at the very least one time in their careers, (at least the good athletes)are niave and live on another planet.
Now back to "The Rock." As he transgressed into Hollywood and acting,...he definately looks great, but toned downed his look a lot obviously. He looks slimmer, going for a slightly bigger "Muscle & fitness" look. It seems to work for him though, as though the man has great genetics, and a good frame. He's what 6'2" and 230lbs? Anyway,...I was wondering what the consencious now as to if he still uses gear nowadays from you guys? What you think? Hmmm, I'm guessing, kinda hard to say, since it is possible that he could be natural "right now." No telling what he may do later, and use for upcomming flims and debuts. The man gets paid to look good, and perform as a Hollywood actor, so I have no doubts he will keep himslef tip-top. I am wondering though as to what degree he will go. The odds are he probably will use gear in the future, either is small controlled amounts, or maybe even higher. It is unlikely he will not ever again,...but anything is possible. Hard to say how this guy would have looked natural after his gear use days. Now (example) when you look at "Stallone" on that "Vanity Fair" mag cover years back....So obvious anybody that knew anything about anything in the gym/gear could tell you he was on something there. But everybody is different, ...so at time it is hard to tell from person to person. Rock is a big guy naturally. I say this from my own personal experience and I base my question since, having used gear myself on and off for more than 10 years. After numerous cycles throughout the years, steroids have definately altered "my body" perminanently enough. Perminantly enough altering my body that when even off, I still have great shape and look "juiced" to some degree or at the least in great shape nonetheless. Sometimes even when I slack or am sick/off/hurt and cant train I still look good as well. Maybe it is a genetic thing, but I do know gear changes you somehow. I am sure you guys that have done countless cycles for a long time can understand and agree to an extent on what I am saying. I feel it somehow conditions your body (after long term usage) and seems to mature your muscles faster, and the change was/is perminanent to a degree.

Now his size now can definately be attributed to juicing way back in his career, but he is no "monster" though, but looks good. So I ask....You fella's think he still is using gear right now? I ask since I definately believe it possible for him to be clean right now....

Either way, the man is a great guy, good role model, next action hero, and looks great either way. Credit where due.

I myslef, prefer gear for myself to natural look, but I have to give the man credit if he is in fact not using at this time....

Opinions/comments?

Thanks bros

well im not a big rock fan but i dont hate him either

but i think he is of samoan or some type of pacific islander decent
and those guys dont need gear to be 6'2 230

but obviously with deadlines and such i dont doubt he uses in the future different acting jobs will require him to adjust his look

think about when stalone gained all that weight/fat to look like a small town cop when that roll was over i have little doubt his cutting cycle
ws a good one

Watched some BS show on either MTV or A&E about The Rock. His father was a pro wrestler. He was also the smallest in his familly. Played for Miami U and then I think he belw out his knee. I like the guy, and he is in the spotlight now. So if he is still juicin' I dont think anyone is going to find that out. They would keep that very hush hush IMO. I think that would kill his career if that became public knowledge. Well if it did, he could always make a public apology, go to some sort of rehab (that is what most average people would expect him to do for a "DRUG") then come back and maybe do drama?? I dont know, I am tired and going to bed

Peace,

Perp

I have a buddy staying with me right now that I have known for about four years. He is Samoan and 6'2 220 ripped and has never juiced in his life. He used creatine for a while and didn't like it. I have seen him as high as 245 with solid abs. Get this: dude circuit trains three times a week. I've never seen the guy go anywhere near free weights. THAT is the power of genetics. So no, I don't believe the Rock is juicing at this point, I am sure he can get by on proper training and nutrition. I have only done a couple of cycles and maintain at 6'0 220 with abs naturally so I guess anything is possible.

the rock juiced - he was up to 280 in his hey day and he had gyno surgery too..

everyone in the WWE has juiced at one point... lol..

I agree that the Rock without a doubt has juiced in the past, I just don't think he would have much problem maintaining 230 naturally.

(lol) i remember he wore a half shirt for a long time..

Hey whats up...Just saw this post and thought i should comment on it...I live in florida and work out in the same gym as the rock and have actually worked in on sets with him before. His dad is at the gym every single day just hanging out as well. He is big but does not appear as big as people make him out to be, maybe that is because i am comparing him to a pro bb. The interesting thing when i watch him workout is that he walks on the tread mill at a very slow pace for an hour and then goes and does his weights. I have never seen anyone sweat so much from an hour light waalk...its almost as if hes on dnp lol...As far as his weight workouts he does relatively light weight with about 12 reps from what i have seen. Really nice guy tho and even makes an effort to go into the child daycare area in our gym and talk and take pics with the kids.

that's true, he does work out light. i'm not even 200lbs and he was basically doing weight that i could do. i saw him a few times at 24hr fitness in honolulu. he worked out with i guess was his little brother, basically looked *exactly* like the rock but much smaller, 6'ish and maybe 200-210, and a bit lighter skinned. i heard he was a monster even before he got into the wwf, so if anything he has slimmed down... but if you ever see him flex his chest you can see the gyno surgery scar...

Are a lot of Athletes using "sports enhancing drugs or supplements"? Yes. IS a majority using "drugs" or supplements? Perhaps. But 100% of all professional athletes? I doubt it seriously. I don't think that Kenny Lofton is using any, I don't think that Johnny Damon is using it, I can name several others that I atleast don't believe they are. Rock definitely use it for sure. I believe he even had gynocomastia before during the height of his career. Now i will say that I do believe all athletes use pain killers, cortisteriods, and other similiar drugs but the key word is "Sports Enhancing Drugs" which I don't believe every athlete is using it though. Yeah I do definitely believe that all or near all Sports Entertainment Athletes are using heavy sports enhancing drugs, supplements and methods. Especially the hungry young prospects scratching for a spot and the spotlight. But man lets be honest here, The Rock isnt a next in-inline Arnie. His movies hasn't prove so, box office success isn't there and his choice of roles haven't shown so. He hasn't been in a big budget action movie since Scorpion King. Also doesnt seem like hollywood is really going to offer it too him anytime soon. Yes he has a role in the upcoming Be Cool movie as a gay body guard and has the lead role in upcoming Spy Hunter, but if it is anything like the game then it wont be very good at all. I haven't heard of any other roles but if there are any others then let me know of them. But I do think that he needs to let the WWE thing go completely. I know that he has said in the past that he would always be a part of the WWE but if he really wants to make it in hollywood, he will have to put both feet in the damn movie industry and let go of wrestling. Just my 99 cents

I'm not sure I believe this but his E True Hollywood Story said that he was benching 400lbs at 14? If it is, then that's some crazy shit.

Triple H doesn't get enough credit as a overall wrestler and entertainer. He does a damn great job making people hate him. He is absolutely great as being a heel. Also I will say that definitely John Cena is the best wrestler and entertainer on the rise.
