You get what you pay for. I got my EMT-B through a combination fire department. I wasnt satisfied with there program, so I got my EMT-I at a community college. Same fucking instructors! I am with that same department, but most of our district is uninhabited mountains. Not alot of medical calls, so not alot of expirience. I joined mostly for wildland fire fighting, but was required to get my EMT-B within two years of hire. I am not impressed with my medical training thus far at all.
