The T-3 has got to go!!

Bro's, I'm dropping t-3 from my cutting cycle, it eats to much muscle. I've been using 1000mgs test per week, 500mg tren, adex and clen and was still losing muscle at 50-75 mgs t-3 per day. My cals were at 2800, protein 350gms and carbs 150-250 per day. I was getting very lean but I was also getting smaller. I started this cycle at 256lbs and within three weeks I'm at 240lbs, thats to much weight to fast. I did not have much body fat to start with, maybe 12-14%. So the t-3 is out, I don't want to look like some calvin klein fag model, just as long as I can see some what of a six pack I'll be fine. I like the big and musclar feeling, I want my traps and size to stand out in anything I put on, not just in a muscle or t-shirt. Have any of you bros had this happen with t-3?

Yep...sus250 at 750mg a week and winstrol at 25mg ed (oral) had me losing muscle with ramping up to 100mcg t-3 a day. No bloat, but felt I was losing muscle. So I ramped down...never again!! That you're using way more gear than I, and are losing muscle, just reafirms my choice!!
 
That shit is bad news.I was losing stength rapidly few weeks back on 50mg.Had to just taper down and stop.
 
Happened to me as well last summer....was using 500mgs cyp QWK and 75mgs of tren EOD and had my T3 up to 125mcg QD.....damn I lost 20lbs in less than three weeks...had to stop.......fixing to try it again at just 50mcgs during my cycle...gonna be using 750mgs omna QWK and 75mgs anadrol at the beginningand finish cycle by adding tren 100mgs EOD...we'll see......I have never used T3 like this before....I have always ramped up and tapered back down and never used for more than 4 weeks, any body else tried 50mcg for their entire cycle of say 16 wks....sounds too long to me

You're not living in Ethiopia are you?

Come on guys, you have to eat big to be big. Even if you're wanting to lose a little fat, you don't cut calories, you add cardio.

Duh? I know you have to "eat big to get big" I was not trying to "get big" just retain the muscle I have. Adding cardio is the same as cutting calories, it causes you to burn fat as energy. I may have been a little low on the calorie end, I've used 3200 cals before and still lost body fat( with clen and eca stack and cardio) Remember everybody is different. I can maintain 250lbs on 3200 cals if I dont use fat burners. When I bulk up I only eat 3500-4000 cals and always gain 20 lbs. So you may be correct in that the cals were a little low, but I know the t-3 was eating fat and muscle.

What I said was... eat big to be big. And I thought it was obvious that as you were talking about simply retaining muscle, that I was talking about eating big just to stay big. Of course everyone knows T3 eats muscle and fat indiscriminately so that wasn't helping but it's your caloric intake that really matters.

You should run a few experiments on yourself with calories and cardio. What you'll find is that cutting calories and doing cardio does not have the same effect on your body.

25mcg t3 always makesme put on muscle weight and higher just makes me loose fat. I think my hypo-thyroidal because 25mcg t3 maes me calm, hapy and i put on weight. Go figure
 
I just got thru running T3 for the first time - ran it for 4 weeks. I was trying to cut for summer, but I gave that up. It was the 25mcg tabs from Tiromel. I ramped up from 25mcg to max of 100mcg and tapered back down combined with 30mins cardio 5xWK. I am also running 500mg test ethantate /wk for 10wks and 40mgs dbol ED for 4 wks. Without T3 this combo usually gives me about 20lbs total gain at the end, which I keep about half. So far I have put on 7lbs, holding steady at 244. I guess it did it's job, but I would have rather had the additional 5 lbs of mass (muscle-water-fat - whatever) I feel I would have gained without the T3 in the mix.

The intent was to keep the size and strength and lose some fat. I did not really notice a thing - no increase in body temp- maybe the doage was too low, but being my first time I followed the most recommended cycle for T3. I intentionally lowered my calories (starved myself) to 3000 with protein at 250-300 and carbs at 200. Strength is up a bit also, haven't tried any max lifts yet but reps are up 2 reps for heavy sets.

Probably won't use it again, I was looking for the miracle 4 week abs - should have know better. Anyway I would rather have 19" arms and a two pack than a 16" arms and a six pack.

Yeah I'm going to start cardio in the mourning, and up the cals a little bit. After I think about it you might be right, the low cals and the t-3 most likely caused the muscle loss. Man, if I could only keep all my mass and still be ripped. It's either 225-230 with a six pack or 250 with a four pack. I'm going to give the cardio a try with 3200 cals and see what happens.

Demarco, maybe your dose was a little on the high end. I recently ran 25mcgs of t3 for 5 weeks with cals at 2300-2500,Protein at 300-350, carbs at 150-200 and EFA's comprising the remaining calories. I was running 500mg test enan. and 30mg anavar ed. Went from 200 @ 10% bf to like 190 @ 5-6%. BTW, only did cardio a few times and was able to hold onto virtually every pound of muscle.

thanks bro, I personally love t3. I got zero sides from it. I only wish I could stack it with clen. Unfortunately just 40mcg of clen gives me sides that aren't worth withstanding. Maybe next time I diet I'll stack 25-50mg Ephedrine with the t3.
