Thinking about trying TRT again a couple years after a failed cycle

I (M/38) tried TRT for a 7 month period in 2022. Reasons being chronic fatigue/low energy, constant low libido, and labs persistently showing low free T (while testosterone itself was always 500-650), low DHEA, and low estradiol/e2. I still have those issues today.

I got all my labs in good ranges (did frequent labs while on TRT, and still do), testosterone was over 1000, and I still felt like shit. The only thing the TRT helped with was libido, which was nice, since I'm using to having almost none. So I gave up on the TRT. Even 2 years off TRT now, despite being in the best shape of my life, I still feel like shit.

But after still being out of ideas (seen many doctors and get labs done all the time), I've been thinking about getting back on Testosterone in some form, but I figure I might as well try a different approach since my original approach wasn't a success. Two years ago, I was solely injecting with testosterone cypionate, 60mg twice per week. If I was going to try TRT again, what might I try differently this time around? I doubt changing from testosterone cypionate to testosterone enanthate or something like that would make much of a discernible difference. I just feel like I should try a different approach, rather than doing the same exact regimen I did two years ago and hoping the results will be better. There's still a lot I don't know when it comes to TRT, there's a lot of testosterone product out there, most of which I have no idea what they do.

I don't want giant muscles or to bulk up, that was never the goal, I just don't want to feel like all the time (meaning very low energy, body aches/pains, depression). Going to the gym is usually brutal, I always feel like I'm running on an empty tank. I still force myself to go a few times a week, and like I said I'm currently in the best shape of my life.. My sleep sucks, but it always has (and probably always will, unfortunately, insomnia is a bitch). It's very possible TRT will still not help me, but maybe now that I'm 40 lbs lighter (not a fatty anymore) than I was a couple years ago, it will have a better effect or something ‍♂️. At the very least it would be nice to get my libido back. It's been super low for a while. I might not end up back on TRT, but it's been on my mind and thought I would see if anyone here had advice. If not, that's okay.

Have you gotten a panel done?

I had low T back when I was young,
It was also found out I had low thyroid, which also causes fatigue, lethargy.

Personally, I like running on the higher end of almost “feeling on” definitely isnt the most healthiest

yeah I've gotten a million labs done over the years, and recently.
I’d try some Cell Tech before you go too far with roids.
Is Cell Tech just creatine? I use creatine pretty often. It sure got the veins popping but otherwise hasn't helped too much, also can cause insomnia.

I like your name btw :D

but no one has advice for trying another/different TRT cycle? It's probably not the answer I'm looking for anyway, since I already tried it without success. I just don't know what else to try at this point, being in the best shape of my life but not feeling well at all, day-to-day, always low energy, mood usually not great. I feel like I'm doing a little bit better recently. Consistent sleep would help I'm sure, I've just never been able to sleep like a normal person.

Trt doesn't really have "cycles" as far as lethargy have you had a sleep apnea test done?
