This corona shit is real

Hey, you’re quite the guy! I’m giving you a virtual pat on the back and I’m going to nominate you MESO man of the year. You have definitely earned my anonymous respect!

There’s a lot of people that do just fine. Yet we have realistic human compassion for the hardworking people that are not able to work during this. You know, the construction worker with shitty healthcare and the 7 year old with health issues. The single mom that has to work 2 separate service jobs to make ends meet because dad got killed coming home from work by a drunk driver. The 28 year old that has student loans because he was halfway thru college and dad had to be treated for cancer, which ripped thru the savings and college tuition money.

People go thru different shit. So shut the fuck up with your uppity cunty bitter bullshit. Who the fuck feels compelled to brag about their finances on an Internet forum anyway?

Because people should know this country has a recession every 10 years, it used to be every 4 to 6 to 8 years. The minute you get a job or do any kind of work you should hold onto that money and control every impulse to spend it.

Americans have no control over their impulses. Don't have kids if you don't have at least $50K in your savings. Don't get married unless you have at least $100K. You do that and you'll avoid problems, it's easy to look after yourself when you're alone, beans and rice will do just fine for months.

People mostly cause their own problems by expecting too much out of life, by wanting to enjoy life too much, by wanting, instead of learning to do without. If people cut themselves down to just the essentials they'd be rolling in money even if they only had a $12/hr job.

So the American can make 1 dollar into 1.50, I'd say he's a genius then

No the American makes $1, he borrows another $.50 to live the lifestyle he wants. The East Indian doesn't give a shit about that, he's focusing on the money to start a business to make himself even richer. That's why these East Indians are all business, they're serious as fuck people if you've ever spent any time around them, they make Americans into a joke.

A few weeks after the shutdown we had lines of vehicles to get free food, either through school lunch programs or pantries and donations. People camping out overnight sleeping in their vehicle to get in line.

One thing I noticed about these massive swarms is that they were driving really nice vehicles. Many men in $50K trucks, big 4x4 off road packages, SUV, nice sedans, nice cloths.

This is the ultimate problem with Americans. If you take an East Indian and you give him a $1 he will spend $0.20 and the rest goes into savings. You give an American $1 and he'll spend $1.50 or worse.

I'm sorry to say this but Americans are the laughing stock of the world, crying poverty, lining up for free food when you drive in luxury, that sort of thing would have taken a lot of nerve 30 years ago, today it's the new normal for dumbasses.
IMO America will become the hardest hit country in the world simply because most if its people are the most entitled.

“new study suggests the true fatality rate among everyone infected by the virus is somewhere between 0.1 percent and 0.3 percent”

L.A. County Antibody Tests Suggest the Fatality Rate for COVID-19 Is Much Lower Than People Feared
That study is deeply flawed.
They used crappy "antibody" quick tests that have like a 7% FALSE POSITIVE RATE so no conclusions can be drawn from that.

This shit is FAR from over. And it will get way worse. It will be the Great Depression 2.0
Accept it and adapt.

on the economy I agree with you 100%.

i think it’s going to be worse than the great depression.

everything is going bankrupt, cities, states, the entire country ,auto industry. real estate commercial and residential, all the banks will fail.

with all the money printing going on eventually there’s going to be a mass inflation.

I just hope everybody gets prepared for when there’s a lot of rioting and looting. people need food and essentials that’s what will be looted.

Printing money out of thin air is one of the most dangerous things this country has become addicted to.

However peoples spending habits also create a very unstable economy, we build up all these shit businesses that are producing worthless products no one needs. Go back to the 40's-early 90's. Most people had steady employment manufacturing something you actually needed. Most peoples homes were fairly sparse, they had a TV, appliances, furniture and a few other things. Every man was employed with overtime and yet you didn't have shit. When I was growing up I got tools for Christmas so I could build and work on my own stuff, I still have those American made tools 38 years later.

So we had less shit, but all the men were employed, then the women entered the work force in mass and it was over, all these worthless service sector jobs popped up, fast food places, nail salons, anal bleaching shops, endless healthcare jobs where everyone wants to be a nurse........no one needs this shit and with more people employed doing this it's a disaster for the economy.

You have to produce something with real tangible value. If that's a man a thousand feet underground drilling out a gold mine or a guy running a machine shop producing something that will last a hundred years, that's what you go with. Not these jobs that amount to nothing more than fluffing the pillows.

The fever. I feel fine but have ran a temp. My work has been monitoring us as we enter and I popped twice. They insisted on paying to have the test done.

Where I work, everyday before starting, they take a temp scan on my head. Over 100, you go home. 2 days paid, then get a test, if positve then 2 weeks paid. So far no has failed. And talking to guys at work, no one really knows anyone who has. Interesting that you felt fine.

This is because you were paying too much for the shit you have. You have extended yourself like most everyone seems to do these days.

The cost of living is beyond bullshit levels, this madness has to stop and there needs to be reset, but there never is, the cost keeping going up because there's a never ending supply of dumbasses that sign up for loans and spend their lives as wage slaves paying it off.

Wake up people, step off the crazy train of mindless consumerism, strip what you need down to the basics, stop worrying about keeping up appearances, tell those around you to fuck off, if your family is nagging you, tell them to stfu.

Amen brother! I live in a neighborhood where I am probably the best paid guy who has the least. Most modest house, oldest cars, push lawnmower. All the young kids have way bigger houses, brand new cars, and fancy zero turn mowers (some of those are $8,000).

Guess what I don't have - a car payment, credit card debt, or PMI insurance. In 5 years, won't have a mortgage either!

I also have A PENSION AND a few hundred thousand in a 401K. People need to wake up!

Yup you live like I did starting out of the gate. I knew these idiots spending money endlessly and crying poverty the minute their jobs disappeared were world class dumbasses.

It's not just the lower and middle class(middle class doesn't actually exist except with credit). I watched the upper crust of society back in 2008 in a neighborhood about twenty miles from where I live actually have such a high suicide rate they called it suicide alley. These rich pricks were killing themselves because they found they couldn't maintain the lifestyle they were accustomed to and couldn't deal with the shame of having to live like normal folk.

The truth is buying things doesn't lead to happiness. Sociologist know for many years that it actually causes the opposite, it leads to anxiety and stress. As more and more people go around advertising their store bought goods, showing off what they have and you don't, these anxiety levels increase and make everyone unhappy, because lets face it. Fifty years ago most people didn't have much, when they got off work they sat on the porch with their family and neighbors and talked to each other, no one had anything, no one came up with a flashy new toy.

Now people live next door to a neighbor for twenty years and they may have never even said a word to them, they instead send the signal that they're successful based on the number of expensive vehicles in their drive way, they don't communicate with anything other than their possessions. It's really quite sad and pathetic what western civilization has turned into, attaching their egos to so much stuff that can go up in smoke in seconds.

A lot of people are still being turned away to self quarantine if they're largely asymptomatic.

That's not new.

Tge fuck is your issue? Is it head trauma or are you just drug addled?
This is 100% correct. My wife’s a nurse and they’ve sent home many many people to Quarantine at home and have only 11 cases in a 1,200 plus bed hospital.

My truck was 67k and i don’t even drive it. I’ve had it 5 months. It has 1,200 miles. I drive my other truck 99% of the time. . Does this piss you off? What does it matter what someone drives and how much it cost? I also just bought a golf cart to check the mail.

What you do is of no concern. I'm talking about dumbasses that buy $67K truck and then two weeks later are in line with 10,000 vehicles to get free food because they haven't worked for two weeks.

If you have the money to take care of you own shit, that's great, but millions of mindless Americans are buying on credit and have no way to pay it off.

Makes more sense to me to have the truck of your dreams and a depreciating debt load, than to have no truck and a pile of depreciating cash.

Man for a Cdnguy or I mean Canadian you sure do know a lot about Americans @JasonJessie ;)...

Nobody on this forum is at a poverty level man. An if they are they shouldn’t be. The gh, gear, and the sheer volume of food it takes to grow year after year costs an astronomical amount. I have a pretty nice house and vehicles as well but my mortgage and car payment don’t even begin to scratch my grocery bill lol.

Facts are that two weeks without work probably isn’t gonna kill anyone. But we have no clue how long this shits going. Back in my home state lockdowns have been extended through May. If people can’t work or work in an industry that’s margins are effected heavily it can be expected that things will go bad fairly quickly for those people.

I also find it hilarious that you’d be on a ped forum preaching about the going back to the basics. You’re level of self awareness must be off the charts  No one here wants to be basic. We (and when I say we I don’t mean you) are savages. We put a bunch of costly unnecessary stuff into our bodies on a constant basis to be anything but basic.
