This happened to my vial

Idk what happened, tried to take all air out just in case its over pressure, but there is not air at all.

I remember putting the vial in a glass with hot water to as it was too thick.

Could this have done that to the cap?

Has this happened to any of u before?

The solvents in your vial made this happen
It’s probably glycol or EO
I would personally never use anything with those solvents
Trash it and get quality stuff

Yes, the heating can sometimes cause this with some vial caps... basically it gets hot enough to develop a new form memory and stayed there long after the pressure had subsided.. Only had it happen maybe 3 times in 10 years though.

It has fuck all to do with solvents.

Yeah I was going to say that heating it probably caused the air to expand, leading to the deformed top

It must have been the heating

However i just discarded it because when I draw test it just leaks through the holes in the cap.

Definitely an effect of the melt/re-hardening then. Sucks but at least it is just one partial vial.
