This is what $91,000 worth of steroids looks like according to Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office:

Using the math preferred by the self-aggrandizing Sherriff Jason Ard, this is the value of the seized steroids:

$3,000 = 22 vials of steroids (including 7 opened vials that were likely for personal use)

$3,000 = ~100 steroid capsules

$82,000 = 1 (maybe 2) ziplock bags of unspecified steroid powder

According to the sheriff's office, these were apparently the most expensive anabolic steroids ever discovered in the history of the androgen black market.

In reality, it could arguably be a personal use supply. The powder could be for a personal homebrew supply or a very small UGL operation.

Law enforcement just can't resist trying to pretend the bust is much more significant than it really is.

Pathetic move by LE.

Hopefully, the defendant has a decent attorney.

Investigators found approximately 22 bottles of steroids with a street value of about $3,000, more than 100 capsules containing various steroids with a street value of about $3,000, and about $82,000 worth of powder testosterone. They also found a loaded handgun.

Sheriff Jason Ard says, "This is one of the biggest busts we've had tied to powder-based steroids. My Narcotics Team is always on alert - making sure they know who the players are and what they're into. It helps when there's a ‘team' effort – like this joint investigation – to get the bigger players in the drug trade. At this point, this investigation is ongoing and could lead to more arrests in other states."

Haha, these police officers don't knew what to do just to be on the news. It was a small bust it looks like personal use to me

Fun fact because I live close to there. The biggest bust of steroids in Livingston parish was actually the denham springs police departments gym that three officers owned together. I can promise you it was much more than what is shown above. But somehow the only thing that happened was the gym was closed and nothing ever heard again. Love good ole boy politics down here.

Like how they put the niacin and b12 bottles in the photo too. Did those count towards the monetary valuation of the bust as well? Lol

82,000 dollars worth of powder in a small ziplock bag. What a bunch of shit, I bet that's not even a kilo of powder. Even if it was cocaine or heroin it would not be anywhere near that much and those two cost way way more than raw test powder. They are saying that so they can hit him with serious trafficking so it's federal and he gets more time. They want to make absolutely sure he can't get away with saying it's only for personal, use even if it was. Those are some great capsules at 30 dollars a piece. He should be able to fight it and get a better estimate on how much everything is worth, then he could plead out to a lesser charge.

Generally when the fuzz busts someone with a CS, they are required to send it to a lab for analysis if the court process makes it passed the prelim. I would be curious to see the results. By the way, didn't someone say red zone went MIA in the past week over at muscleguru??

Yes, they are Redzone labs vials. And most likely bunk so he should get off. LMAO

If they are redone labs they automatically lose they're value so now we are dealing with about 30grand in inventory with that stash!

Jesus if that stash is worth 90 grand my stashes at times must of equaled to close to a million. Maybe I should buy the bentley flying spur after all.

You know..what the hell! if we,as responsible adults choose to put something in our bodies and no one gets hurt...WTF!! What? did I wake up in some Communist Bloc Country or something? Crap, keep it outta the younguns' grasp, etc,we get THAT! Whatever happened,at least in theory anyway to "the land of the free..?" It just chaps my arse to see these petty lying cops try to make a relatively tiny amount of stuff seem like a scene out of "The French Connection"
