This will be my DFHT training Log!!!

Ok so thanks to a recent search about DFHT here on meso, I pulled up an old thread that had Phreezer posting a link to a thread over at Elitefitness.com. This guy DrBones kept a detailed training log of his DFHT routine...Except, maybe i missed something, he stopped his journal short...I plan on having a detailed journal of an 8 weeks on DHFT method....First a little background about myself...Im 22 years old, 6'4", 224 lbs, not TOO much bodyfat(maybe around 12 or so)...I have 3 cycles under my belt....And have just started my fourth today....It consists of Wk 1-12 750mg/wk Test enanthate......Wk1-11 500mg/wk EQ......Weeks 3-12 75mg/day Trenbolone acetate.....And of course PCT and everything....Ive been working out on and off since i got into a PE class when i was 15 years of age....But i really got serious about this about a year and half ago...As for education, I recently changed my major to Health and Sports Sciences from Business management....Im going to enjoy that so much more than business and im very glad I found something that can relate more to my interests.....As for working, I mow lawns( about 5 per week..) and i work at a restraunt....I don't work to much maybe about 25-35 hours/wk(varies) and so i have a considerable amount of time to focus on training and diet...Well this week im taking it light at the gym and kinda of resting up for when i start DFHT next week....I breif overview will look like this::

First 3 weeks Loading phase..(heard it was a bitch to get through because of the volume)
Wk 4...10percent rduced load/resting phase..
Wk 5 ....High repetition week
Wk 6....Normal Loading
Wk 7...Lower Repetion
Wk 8...10percent reduced load/rest phase.

Now as for my diet, Im shooting for 300-350 grams protein/day....Carbs about 200/day(mostly in the morning and directly after workout)....Fats 80g/day or so....so the calorie total should be about 3000(real clean foods....So shooting for more like 350g/day protien..)

Now for my goals after this cycle is completed, it is to have gained anywhere from 15-25lbs of muscle and lose about 5-10 pounds of fat...(i know hard to do but the tren should help along with clean diet)...So after my cycle i want to be about 10-15lbs heavier....and basically look more trimmed up...

Im going to use the workouts suggested in Phreezer's sticky....Im really going to follow the way the program was laid out and see what happens.....Anyone feel free to chime in with comments and suggestions.....Ill repost here next monday after finishing the 1st workout..........Later

Just curious about your past training, mostly because at your age I think you could get to 225 at 6' 4'', all natural, and as an old guy, I guess I'm kind of leary of messing with a young guys hormones (at my age, 44, they are going downhill anyway... {grin}.

What weight did you start out at before your first cycle? How much training did you have under your belt?

Don't mind me, I'm just jealous that I've only discovered juice at 44. I've trained for 20 years natural, and the gains I made on juice just blew me away (after 10 years, I was just maintaining... juice put it ON).

Good luck with that DFHT thing, never heard of it... I'm trying out HST to get over an injury, and because a lot of guys on this board swear by it. It's also a very very very easy way to train... I'm SO much more energetic now after a workout. If this works, I'll stick with it for life.

Well honestly Neo....I was workin out and didn't know shit about alot of things....I was about 185 lbs....Real skinny, didnt know alot about diet...Then this dumbass friend of mine came in and said i can gain all this ripped muscle with 10mL of Tornel supertest(250mg/mL)...So i bought that for the shitty price of 260 dollars...LOL...Man that was stupid....He told me to pyramid the mg and the shit only lasted me about 5 to six weeks...That was a flop....Same with the second....Then i found mesorx and started really readin ALOT.....I know i could have made the gains without the gear but i was impatient...So i got on a 500mg/wk Test Enan. and 500mg/wk EQ.....ATe my ass of and gained 30 lbs.............so i weighed 220 then....Gained a little of fat in the winter and now i want to trim up again.....But your probably right,,,,i could make gains without the gear but im real interested in using Tren iwth EQ and test..................Later.
 
Holy schmoly... 260... dude... I feel your pain!

So two cycles were a bust, okay, that makes me feel a lot better, cause your size with 3 cycles didn't seem to make your goals feasable.

Being a newbie sucks, doesn't it? I lost 50% when guys here are now saying I could have kept 90. yikes...
If it helps, I paid too much for my test too, but not in that horrible range... $75 each for three bottles. Just ordered the same amount for $135, not 225.

Whats weird though....I didn't lose many pounds at all maybe 1 or 2.....JUst lost a little strength...

First Day

Today was my first day on DFHT. I weighed in today at 231, which is a little more than i thought i was.....All i can say is that it is a good deal of volume.....Here is how my workout went....

Low Incline Bench- 155x8, 175x8, 195x8 (These were pretty easy, i started off low weight because your not suppose to go to failure..The 195 might have been a little heavy but i completed 8 and could of done more).

Closegrip Bench Press- (Never done these before) 135x8, it was easy and will up the weight next time..

5 Board Bench press- (again have never done these before) 185x8

Chest Dips, (Boy i feel like a weakling) 1st set only 7 reps, then only 5 reps..... BTW what is the difference betwen chest dips and tricep dips???

Dumbell Extensions- 35lbsx 10, then 45x10...

Seated Military Press- 135x5, 145x5, 155x5....

Dumbell Overhead Press- 40lbsx8, 50x8

Barbell Rows (After these i felt lightheaded and winded, I really concentrated on my back staying straight and parallel to ground and explosively lifting, squeezing, then returning to the floor) 115x8, 135x8, 135x8(again).....

Pulldowns 110x8, 120x8 (Again really concentrated on squeezing and holding for the lats)

Upright Rows- 90x10, 105x10.....

Barbell Curls- 60x10, 70x10....

Dumbell Curls- 35x8, 45x8(probably should of done 40's because i was tired by now, and im wanting to come within a few reps of failure)...

Forearms 2x25 with 65lbs( Haven't done these in a long time and got good burn)

That was the end of my workout....The total time was around One hour and fifteen minutes or so...Maybe a little longer....IM on the second week of my cycle: 750mg/wk Test E.....450mg/wk EQ....80mg/day tren......Now starting about the dumbell extensions, i was sweating like a pig....I dont know if it was because of the volume or the tren....At the end of the Rows, I felt burnt....My blood sugar was probably real low and i felt weak...Im looking forward to getting pummeled tomorrow....So ill let you guys know whats up.....Feel free for any questions or comments.....

OK just got done with my workout today and all i can say is HOLY SHIT....I have to go to work here in a little bit so i will post details later but doing: Squats(5x5), Goodmornings(3x5), Cleans(3x5), Hack Squat (2x8) and Straight Leg DL (2x8) was fucking killer.....Ive never done goodmornings, cleans or hack squats before and after those three in a row i was finished.....Ill post details later when im off work, but so far it is TOUGH...

Yes, I'm a powerlifter.. but I have run Dual factor.. Animal Mass is a personal friend of mine (off board) what kind of friend would I be if I didn't at least try his program ;)
 
OK so here we go......Yesterday i finished my second workout (today is the day off thank christ...) Man it was very difficult to get through...Here is how it went....BTW i used to train with a bunch of isolation movements and never done much compound movements.....From now on i will stick with mostly compound movements....My WHOLE body has never been so worked and sore...Its a great feeling....

Squats- 135x5, 165x5, 185x5, 185x5(again), 205x4(this was to much weight for me...I shouldn't have gone to failure but wasn't used to doin 5 sets...I also have long legs and was going ALL the way down so it is a long way for me to travel)

GoodMornings(first time to do these...Felt a little akward but i really concentrated on keeping back straight and pushing my butt outward) 115x5, 135x5, 155x5

Cleans( Again never done these before and these really fucked me up and got me winded) 115x5, 135x5, 145x5 (just pullin around that weight like that tells me that these will def. make me stronger...Very hard)

Hack Squats(after doing these i was done...i felt like puking)...115x8, 135x7.......

Straight Leg DL (Damn these fuck your hamstrings up, can hardly walk today) 95x8, 115x8....

Seated Calves (worked these real slow and really squeezed up top)...60x10, 95x10, 115x10...

Pullthroughs(never done these before) I just used 80lbs on the machine and it was pretty easy....Felt wierd...Don't know if i was really doin them correctly..

Then i finished everything off with ab and oblique work.......I really believe that this program will not only help me lean out, but will make me stronger because of these compound movements....Im very eager to see results and how everything will turn out......Will post tomorrow when i finish the workout.......Feel free to post comments or questions......Later
 
Make sure you get your form down correctly when doing these exercises...especially good mornings and deadlifts... Get a good feel these exercises you are not experienced with before you go heavy... I know I put up pictures on how to do most of these exercises..but looking at a picture and actually performing the exercise are two very differint things...Practice..practice..practice...
 
Tonight I will post Thursday and Friday's logs........I have been out lookin for a new job and haven't really had time to post.......Will get everything up there tonight.........
