Like everything, there are pros and cons with the 90s vs now. I do miss the Organon glass pre-loaded sustanon syringes. We would get them from a "farmacia" in Mexico, and the quality was legit. Single servings packaged with tinfoil backs. We could also get legit Schering primo depot ampules pretty easily. I still have about 30 left that I got in 2000ish--long ago expired 2007 (can't bring myself to dump them [emoji1787] pics attached). They always been in a dark cool place. Wonder if they are still good?>perks of being a steroid user in the 90s
Seriously?
Bunk, fakes, gyno, even goddamn jaundice and straight out retarded cycles due to information vacuum were the norm.
The guys who had it good are still around in the community talking, introducing some serious survivorship bias, but it was in no way better back then.
Just my point of view... the guys who've actually been around back then will have more valid point of view.
As mentioned, the problem was information. I had Dan Duchane's Underground Steroid Handbook 2 that had the red pages with purple font so that you couldn't make photo copies. That was like the Bible for us until Bill Phillips put out the Anabolic Reference Guide. Without those, all you had was bro science. Hell, my first deca cycle I did by itself for eight weeks with no test base and no pct. Moronic, but I didn't know any better. Surprisingly, I didn't get get deca dick, but I was also young, so maybe I just got lucky. I blew up like a ballon tho. You could see my moon face on a clear night.
I much prefer today over the 90s. Groups like this take all the guess work out if you take the time read.
Happy new year, brothers!!! Stay safe out there.
