i just read an article on using a "tide" cycle to minimize the side effects of AAS

the basic theory was to alternate deca and test cyp every week using bromocryptine and nolva - and using 25 mg of anavar e.d.

i guess the thinking was that any sides come from repeated use of a particular AAS and by alternating the AAS we are limiting the amount of time a particular substance affects us

i was just wondering what you guys thought of this theory and whether this is "new" or has anyone had any experience with it

That has to be the dumbest cycling idea Ive ever heard. Can you say "more sides?" And less results, too.

lol

lol - it was from an article on this site actually

i think it was called "management of AAS side effects" or something like that

i've definitely never heard of anything similar, which is why i was inquiring

ya see patches, some bros here on meso have substance abuse issues, so you should always things with a grain of salt. but that poster surely must've been abused for that post. :D

I just read it as well and i believe it was by L. Rea. The author of chemical muscle enhancement and building the perfect beast. In my opinion he hints at it being a technique used by Coleman if im not mistaken (though im sure minimized comparedto colemans cycles).

The beneficial (AND negative) effects of AAS are a function of dose and time but it's not as simple as saying AUC (area under the curve). A single 1g dose of TE would seriously mess up a newbie up while 4wks @250 would likely produce noticeable gains in strength and muscle mass with minimal side effects. Decent PCT would likely let you keep most of them.

Conceptually, alternating some drugs might work over intervals of several weeks but it would have to be drugs with short half-lives and potent (immediate) anabolic/androgenic activity. By definition, the most potent drugs typically produce the most potent side effects. So any benefit that would come from cycling off a drug would be eclipsed by using that particular drug in the first place.
