Pretty sure 100mg a day isn't going to be detrimental.. In that study i posted people were also taking 1600mg a day.which isn't inherently bad if the 60 mins. for "significant" serum boost is true. I just want to know if twice daily dosing makes the most sense. And then would that mean 50 mg twice a day for a total of 100 mg? Would side effects be more pronounced at that dose?
I think being a supplement and not FDA approved people play it safe with advice and err on the side of caution with the minimal dose. The harvard website has an article that listed a bunch of potential side effects of misuse.
