Took a rest day.
Going to write a linear periodization mesocycle, for my next blast. Then depending how it goes do a macrocycle.

i am making 2 at the moment, a meso cycle and a yearly macro cycle for practice. Using the R7 approach for day to day sessions.

But need to fine tune it and figure out the best way to progress for optimally during each training blocks. By looking at my notes again. I cant remember it all. Alot of info.

Going to see whats better a linear or undulating periodization. For my goals for progressing

Was able to take a day off today. Feeling back to normal, no more overtrained feeling. So will be doing a solid hypertrophy block. Just doing same 10-15 reps at 70-80% 1RM.
Supersets, drop sets, etc.

tomorrow is legs.

Making some really nice progress, just about done with tren 1-2 weeks left, however much i have left. Starting to feel kind of gross though, so glad its almost over, then cruising finally. For a bit.

to bad makes so much sides, because it really does some amazing stuff to the physique. But feel very gross.

doing chest and triceps today

Arms and chest today
3 bicep
3 tricep
3 chest

talk about improvments!!! Hypertrophy block lifting is doing wonders. Sitting at 242.

Did legs today.

have 3-4 days left of tren, then cruising finally. Probably at 300 mg a week.

is it a good idea to cut while cruising?

I am now 250 lbs probably a bit fat for my liking. I would say 17% bf. Never had so much before.

2 more days then tapering to a nice solid cut. Will tracking calories very closely. Eating at maintenence with just healthy clean foods.

I saw on reddit, forums that the trend is after a bulk to stay at maintenance for 4 weeks let's say so that your body can adjust to the new added lbm and then start to cut

Yes going to do a taper down, eating good clean foods, to maintenence, stay there but eating healthy foods at a good ratio of macros. See how my body reacts then adjust.

What you said makes sense.

Well, there is "healthy" and there is the best way to hold on to muscle while cutting fat.

Higher doses of testosterone and other performance enhancing hormones are going to hold on to muscle better than TRT dosages.

If you are already larger than your natural hormones will hold (I do not know if you are), then keeping testosterone in the normal physiological range is not going to hold on to superhuman amounts of muscle for months while you slowly starve and hit the cardio machines fasted in the morning.

If it worked so well, then Olympians would be doing contest prep for this December on 100-150 mg per week of testosterone. I am guessing none of them are . . .

High doses to hold on to muscle. hgh if you can afford it, injected upon waking before fasted cardio. Cut with diet and cardio. Keep protein and hormones high.

How fast do you try and cut on a cruise? How many cals below maintence?

The general rule is 500. Where do you start?
I would not do it on a "cruise," if I was serious, as I wrote above, but as for calories, why not start at maintenance? Add a little cardio 3x a week.

At the end of the first week, run that tape measure around your waist at the belly button (not at the hips), step on the scale, and compare to your photos of mandatory poses in good lighting from the week prior.

Improved? Good. Then continue what you are doing.

No improvement? Drat! Time to change something. Drop 50 grams of carbs a day (that's 200 calories) and/or add 5 minutes of cardio.

Do this assessment each week and make changes only if needed.

This way, you keep progressing but are getting all the calories you can stand and as little cardio as possible, so long as you keep moving forward.

By the end you will be low calorie and daily a.m. fasted cardio for 45 minutes and maybe some evening cardio, depending on you and how far you want to cut, but that is still many weeks away . . .

Awesome, great advice. Will be doing so this way.

would fasted cardio be a good idea even without hgh?

I agree with @malfeasance. I personally will drop 25g of carbs at a time though instead of 50. I cut without test or GH, so I need to go a tad slower so I don't lose muscle.

Also, being natty when I cut I typically wait until I get below 3,000 calories a day before I add in cardio.

If I'm actually a legit 17%, cutting my way would take roughly 8 weeks to get to 10-12% which is pretty lean for someone who isn't on stage. I feel most people THINK a legit 10% is actually like 6-7%, but a true 10% in most men and they'll have a lot of stirations, veins, and clearly visible abs.

Ok cool, 6-8 weeks is not too long. Thanks for advice.

It really isn't. The biggest thing is seeing the scale go down and people will freak out thinking they're losing size. Honestly it's mainly just bloat that you lose at first from depleting glycogen stores. So like @malfeasance said. Measure your waist and arms. If you're losing around an 1/8" on your arms for every inch on your waist, that's perfectly normal. If you're losing weight say roughly 10lbs and your waist doesn't shrink an inch, then something is probably goofy.
