To brew, or not to brew... that is the question.

So I have a question, if you were sitting on a bunch of raws you wouldent be brewing up for over a year, would you brew them? Or keep them as raws? I did some research and found that someone mentioned brewed gear lasting as long as 5yrs without losing potency. Also heard that a couple people freeze their raws.. I dont like the whole freezing Idea, so I would keep them dried and vacuum sealed, or just brew everything up and sit on it till its time to run it.

Freezing is fine if you let it return to room temp before opening.

I keep my raws stacked for 2+ years - so any given month I have 2 years of trt and cycles in my freezer.

I personal,y only brew what I need for 90 days. If contamination seeps in or you make a mistake, you've lost 30$ in raws.

All personal preference really.

i brewed 100grams test in 2002, it lasted 5 years. no problems . it was just as good at the end, as it was at the beginning

Maybe Ill just brew it all up then. What carrier oil did you use and what % ba? I use 2% on most of my stuff but I would imagine stuff being stored for 5+ yrs would probably be safer with a higher % ba

I use mct as carrier btw, not sure if the carrier effects shelf life.

i used grape seed oil. 2%ba, and13% bb for test E. for test prop. i used 3% ba 13%bb . no pain or soreness. 13%bb is not necesary, but it makes it thinner.

Pharmaceutical preparations like BAC water and Watson Test Cyp use only .9% BA. You don't need a higher percentage just bc you plan on storing it for a while.

Yea I used 10% on my test E brew.
Havent brewed up any of my prop but it looks like a lot of people use 18-20% bb from the recipies ive seen.

Yea I know about the amount they use but I was just taking into account that im not using pharm grade facility, or oils. Thanks Doc, ill just keep it all at 2%

Even so, I've yet to see proof anywhere that a higher BA concentration will result in increased bactericidal properties. I use 1% BA in everything. I'd use .9% but it makes the math and measuring more of a hassle.

Haha. No doubt. Ive just used 2% to make sure I got a good dose of BA in the bottle. If 2% doesnt hurt, then I dont see anything wrong with adding it.

Will higher BA content allow for higher concentrations? It is a solvent yea? I understand the limits (for pain/tissue irritation) and it's antiseptic properties but what about it's properties as a solvent?

Yes, BB is much better solvent wise than BA. I fucked up a whole batch of NPP. Was so pissed.. I was watching tv, and my BA and BA are both in similar amber vials. I added BA in place of BB, and when I realised it I was furious lol. I did notice though, even with all that BA, the npp wouldent fully dissolve.. very chunky and granular. Lot of chedda right down the fucking drain. Never again.
