To cycle or not to cycle, that is the question.

A little history about myself, I have always been a very small guy. In the above photo I was 18 years old, 6' tall 130-140 pounds. My metabolism seemed to run a mile a minute, I would eat and eat junk food or what ever and be skinny as a rail. This bothered me.

Fast forward til now. I am now 27, 205-208 pounds. I finally figured out if you want to grow it really depends on the types of foods you eat (protein, carbs) then how much you eat. I started working out a few years back and since have been doing great.

Max on the three lifts
Bench:205 (weak)
Squat: 315
Deadlift:400

Now what brings me here..

I have stopped seeing any real strength or size gains. I may go up a few pounds here or there on lifts and exercises. but my overall size seems to just be stuck. Biceps have been at 16-16.5" for about a year, etc. My diet is pretty good, not a shit ton of junk or anything. I workout 4-5 days a week for about 1.5 hours a day. Personally I feel I am at the wall.

I am planning on doing a simple Test E cycle at 500-600mg a week. Aromosin or Arimidex for during cycle, haven't decided which yet. Nolva and Clomid for PCT. Will be doing blood work pre, during, and post cycle.

Would like to throw some Deca in also if you guys think it would be feasible. I know that from what I have read most do a Test only cycle first, so that is prolly what I will do.

Based on the info, any reason NOT to just jump in? Any comments or suggestions greatly appreciated.

I believe only you will know when you're ready. You sound like you know what you want to do already. My only critique would be what's a "pretty good" diet? Are you tracking your intakes and timing? It may be as simple as switching up routines and correcting diet to break through your plateaus. Or you could be ready to "cycle." Do this, post up your proposed cycle in the cycle forum and have it critiqued once you are ready. Please do your homework first on dosages of compounds and timing of PCT. There is a lot of good info here.

Well , you could throw in some Dbol or Tbol for a kicker . Check your diet and training routines , calculate when to start with PCT . You can either go Nolva or Clomid or both together . I doubt you will need any AI during this cycle but if you DO need it you can start Adex at low dose after the esthers kick in .

Honestly, I feel I am ready. I've worked hard to get where I am but now just want that little extra push. Just wanted to make a post here and get peoples opinions.

I track my intakes. Not so much timing. Planned on making a full post in the cycle forum, been researching here til hen

I'll have to look into the Dbol or Tbol, didn't know if it was advised to throw it in on a first run.

Plan on heavily tightening the diet when I start. I don't do bad now, but it could be stricter for sure. Training will be upped also.

From what i've read the best way to calculate your PCT is from bloodwork, correct? From what i'm seeing most people are starting 3-4 weeks after their last pin.

With the AI, I would much rather have it and not need it then need it and half to wait for it to come in. I could always use it later. :)

Dude, that 10,000 days tattoo is fucking sick bro
Thanks! Here is my forearm on the arm.

Im jelly dude that is sick. I said if i ever got a tattoo it would be alex grey artwork. Ironic enough, me and needles are not friends

If you like Alex Grey then you probably know who Chet Zar is but you should check out Peter Gric as well, I think you would like him.

I'm going to say no you shouldn't cycle. You have hit a wall because you need to cut, and bring yourself back into a more anabolic friendly environment. This is a simple explanation but there is more to it. I would drop body fat significantly and then continue building naturally. You have a lot of mileage left naturally. You could fairly easily add 100 lbs to each of your 1RM values before touching steroids, it will take some time obviously, but I think taking steroids would be jumping the gun, but that's what most people do.

those are great artists. i like peter gric of the two.
alex grey is a quite a visionary.
i used to draw quite a bit when i was younger. actually, its almost all i did. i picked it up again a bit. i studied burne hogarth books. loved boris velejo and frank frezetta. maybe my first intro in bodybuilding or physique. what the human body was meant to look like.
