Never forget there is a drive for mass immigration to Israel right now to create and prop up the Jewish state. This is a state created based on religion and nationality. I seem to remember Hitler wanting the same thing for Germany if I'm not mistaken, a pure ethnic state based on a imagined mythical past.

Is there any other state where you find a drive towards ethnic purity? The Muslims seem to accept anyone as long as they convert to Islam, black, red, yellow, white, brown, as long as you've got a beard and an AK-47 you're part of the Islam club, but to be Jew and immigrate to Israel you gotta provide some form of genetic proof.

I'll be the first to admit, growing up in the 70's, 80's, life was fruity pebbles and cocoa puffs, hanging out with friends, having fun. This was a sweet spot in American history, no wars, no real bullshit, just live your life. Then the gulf war happened, LA riots and the country kind of turned into a shit show. The 70's might be the last great era of this country, you could walk down the street with a joint hanging out your mouth, sex was no problem, life was simple and slow.
