too much omega-3?

First off....bulk training, mild cardio 33 y/o male 230 / 5'7 around 14%bf around 4500 cal/day...

my current diet yields about 12oz of salmon/day (canned pink salmon on a salad). I continue to take 9 fish oil tabs/ day also. A trainer at my gym tells me this is too much omega-3. any response would be appericated....
 
10% of your diet should contribute to Fatty acids. 9 seems a bit much, depending on your protien/carb daily intake.
