I started at 19, didnt have any bad physical experiences but i was uneducated and regret my first cycle (Dbol only) b/c it put me in a worse position than i already was. I have heard of many people who have stunted their growth this way, but i was already almost 6 foot 2 and hadn't grown in a while or wanted to grow any taller, and my body was pretty mature in terms of my frame and muscle mass. The key is letting your body mature firsst and becoming as knowledgeable as possible before you start AAS. No matter what anyone says, there is not an exact set age that is the same for everyone to be the right time to start AAS, because everyone is different. Hope this helps.

I started out at 19 as well, but I was very well educated in the ways of AAS. It hasn't hurt me a bit in my progress, but I'm no Dr. eigther. as long as you seriously know your shit you shouldn't have a problem at all.

Discalmmer-I neighter endorse nor discourage AAS use under the age of 21...I seriously believe thaty each person is difrent and there for each person should be evaluated on a case to case bassis.

Well what are your stats now?
How long have you been training?
What is your diet like?
Whats does your training consist of?
What are your goals?

I've known a lot of young starters although I waited until I was 26.
Many young starters regret it and wish they had spent a little more time learning better ways to eat/train. However, if there is a chance at a professional career in MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL or another good money sport then I'd say starting young could be justified. Sometimes I wish I kicked it off at 21 to be honest. I think it's very individual. I hate to see 18 year old kids with a lot of growing left start them. But then you see 18-20 year old guys who are very developed already. There's also a mental maturity that helps, nothing like guys who go around telling everyone about there AAS use.

I just started taking gear and I'm 27. I waited 2 years after I started training to start. I'm glad I waited but I often wonder how big/strong I would be now if I started taking it a year ago.

Ive been lifting since i was in the 5th grade, my dad used to be heavy into bodybuilding and i have a very well maintained diet, cardio, training regimen, ect ect...........I am 6'2, 190, probably about 10-12% bodyfat, and im just tryin to bulk right now, deep into the summer i was thinkin about some test/eq/winny to get rid of any fat and get those striations to come through better, although they are not too bad right now even tho im bulking, im tryin to keep all fat down with cardio......But as well as my training goes i feel im pretty advanced in most aspects of the sport and often help out older guys in the gym..........thanks for the info tho guys its appreciated

you still have potential growth to do... i'm 5 inches shorter then you at 195 at 8% bf and i probably still can gain quality muscle without the use of aas (but i choose to use them anyways)

i'm 19 now.. started my first cycle when i was 18 preparin for teen nationals... i've only met 1 or 2 people (that were not preparin for a show or meet) my age that were ready to use aas or actually had a good reason...
