Definitely seems like more could have been achieved naturally, but to each his own. I was sitting at 180 natural, with close to a 1500lb Total.

EDIT: That was 4 weeks ago, prior to first pin.

Fuck what anyone says, build up and get back in the groove. When I started lifting with mghoward he slowly built up too, now hes shooting for a 500 bench. Its not how much you lift, its what your goals are. You dont have to cycle to just be strong. You can cycle for a variety of reasons. Btw thats a shit load for the delts, I sometimes do 1.5 5ml with bad pip.

But if he's been out for 4 months or so, and he's just getting back into the swing of things... that doesn't bode well for a cycle. I don't know many people that would have encouraged him to do a cycle yet.

EDIT: Especially his first cycle ever...

Btw bro I'm seriously not knocking you by any means so don't take that the wrong way
Naw bro it's all good I see where u can say these are chump numbers basically but this is just for me to get use to the weights and bench isn't a strong point for me ever always was a DB guy but the weight feels light next few weeks I'll be bumping weights up 20lbs every other week just don't want to go balls out and injure myself and really fuck this cycle up

I must have missed the 4 month part. I agree he should have been working out and achieving plateaus naturally. But my point is its not all about how much you can lift. Whats done is done, hes already started his cycle. No need to get hurt at the start of the cycle because he tries to bench more than he can. But yes, anyone trying to cycle should always reach the maximum natural gains.

Didn't get encouraged to do anything by anyone this was a self choice and my goals are to recomp and build at same time maybe not the strongest right now but I gain strength fairly quick imo

@Ozzy619 didnt do delts did Glute but a few ppl say it's possible maybe I will try it out and go from there and thanks for the words of advice

Have you pinned delts yet? Let me know how that goes, I always leak when I pin over 1 ml. Maybe your wife can help you z track it.

Good on ya for building up slowly at least. That's hardest part of coming back from a break, is knowing when to draw the line before you bust a labrum or blow out a knee.
You'll definitely see some insane gains, both from muscle memory and gear haha
