I restarted TRT 18 weeks ago 160mgs test cyp and regained 15+ pounds really quickly. After 10 weeks of TRT, 8 weeks ago I started cycling again and did so in a stair step fashion to see what I could tolerate these days etc. I started with 300mg of test cyp per week for the first 3 weeks with 10mg of Dbol and I put on some water quickly low 190s-200 pounds QUICK which I didn't like so I dropped the dianabol... dropped back to 197... went to 500 test 3 weeks in and added 250mg primo for 4 weeks, and just jumped to my max level of 500 test + 500 primo this week. I will stick with 500/500 for another month perhaps longer and then head back to 160mg of test. I know many of you don't cycle like this, but I am trying to find a sweet spot for this test primo combo in larger doses. I have bloodwork coming in soon from 500 test/250 primo.
The thing is this... THE SCALE WON'T FUCKING BUDGE. I'm stuck in 197 hell. I thought I was going to add a good bit of weight because I have had about 30 pounds more on my frame years ago but it isn't happening. All of my weights are up by 1-2 reps or more weight every single workout in the gymnasium... especially my legs, they just keep leapfrogging reps and weights.
I went into this thinking I would "clean bulk" so maybe that is what I am getting, but I think there are 2 things happening
1. Primo is chopping my anabolism by cutting E2 wayyyy down which I will know soon from the bloods. I was on 200 test + 200 deca a couple of years ago and 10 pounds heavier and stronger in my weight logs doing nothing different than I am now.
2. I do 30,000 fucking steps per day bc I live in Manhattan which is probably 12 miles. So I am in a literally -1200 kcal state just from my need to walk for where I live and what I do. You'd think I would be ripped, but not really.
I feel like I am spinning my wheels. Maybe this is what primo is good for... and the strength gains in my weight training log don't lie.... just a bizarre situation to be on this much gear. It's further proving to me how weak of an anabolic primo actually is and it may even HINDER something like test.
