Training after a graveyard shift...no energy!

So I've just recently started a graveyard job where a lot of nights I'm working a 12 hour shift 11-11. I've been trying to workout after work, but have found my energy levels to be completely dead. And my thoughts are, carb loading, for the gym, just to go sleep shortly after, seems counterproductive.
So thoughts...maybe try and hit the bed right after work, wake up earlier and workout in the evening right after I'm awake?
I've never been so unmotivated and lacking of energy in the gym before. Something has to give.

Physical activity at work especially at those hours can really tax your energy. Working 12 hour days is even worse.

You can try working out prior to going to work, after you had some sleep.

Yeah like ive said, ive never kacked drive kike u have these passed few weeks. I've even thought about smashing out some caffeine right after I clock out, but then I wont sleep at all, which becomes a slow downward spiral. Idk..I'm thinking a sleep aid right after shift, waking up 7pm to train, so I can put some caffiene in my morning shake and then go!

Been in this spot before and tried it both ways. I found it better to workout before going to work as most of the time I was too taxed to workout after. I also had more energy throughout the shift with working out before.

I did mix it up a few times. There were days that I felt energized at the end of the shift so I took advantage of it and got the workout in before going to bed.

Push through and do whatever it takes to get it done. That's what separates us from the rest of the lazy f*cks who will make every excuse not to get into the gym.

Yes...yes...it surely separates us men from the lady-boys with binary sex identities that use the trans-gender restrooms at Target!
Ok, fuck...its bedtime lol. o_O

Have you tried taking naps? I started a new painting gig recently and I've hDlad to switch my schedule up from working out in the morning and working at night to the exact opposite snd after a day of climbing up and down a ladder 1000000 times im fairly gassed so i go home, conk out for about an hour or two and then slam some grub and just enough preworkout to gimme a kickstart and go work out then go home and get the rest of my sleep

I actually tried that the other day. I did have a bit more energy. But I realized after, now I cant fucking sleep lol. So I ended up getting like 3 hours that evening. Which I can rock a work shift on a couple hours sleep, but we all know that kills progress in bodybuilding. So I think im gonna set on getting off work, being in bed by noon at the latest and setting an alarm for 7pm. That'll give me a couple hours to lift and an hour to pack my meals and get ready for the shift. I just need to force myself into the schedule I think. Maybe get some of that nyquil zzz sleep aid, to low dose for a couple weeks. Idk I'll get it figured out, I got to. Otherwise I'm gonna just piss all this deca away for nothing.

A cup of Coffee, or caffiene pwo in general would probably work wonders for you.
