I just started trainning at the local ymca in Jan.I've always trainned at home but my wife signed up for family plan and I need my weight room at home for the kids junk. Anyway, there seems to be about 2 guys lifting there that are really strong and dont parade around in string tank tops and work nothing but bi's every single time they are there. The rest of these idiots do quarter smith machine squats,pile weight on leg press and barely move it, use their entire body to do semi heavy bar curls,etc.etc. The amazing thing is that alot of these guys are bigger in the upper body than me and yet they do half (or less) the work I do. Its really hard to lift some days with all these morons around me and me feeling like a wimp when I know better.I know for a fact that most of these guys are either currently on gear or have been recently.The dumbasses talk about it not knowing whos listening and none of them know me from Adam,for all they know I could be a cop or narc!Is the gear allowing them to get their size and not be all that strong? BTW, I did 5x5 for most of last year and just started DFHT going into my third week. I've made some really great strength gains and DFHT seems to really working well.Sorry for the long post but this shits been eating at me for a while and I dont really have anyone else to question or rant to.
