Transition CUT to LEAN BULK questions

Hey! (i presented myself on my other thread)

So im finishing my mini cut of 5 weeks next week (lost about 4-5 kilos mainly fat) , my maintenance calories intake was around 2800 so i started my cut at 2500 and decreased 100 calories from carbs each weeks so i end up at 2000 cals with around 100g of carbs .

I know the best way to get out of a cut is to reverse diet , but since it is been only 5 weeks that i am in a deficit i wonder if my metabolism has been slowed down a lot and the thing is , if i reverse diet im scared of keep being in a deficit for a few weeks more and actually really slowing down my metabolism while reverse dieting (if it has not been slowed down yet) , but if i up straight my carbs and hit 2500 calories i know i will gain a lot of water weight and i will get confuse and don't know if i am actually on maintenance or not , so please i would like to have some advices on how to go back to maintenance after a mini cut of 5 weeks and how to take care of the watter weight when we up the carbs ... Thank you ! ( if it can help to know if my metabolism has been slowed down i feel pretty weak and tired sometime and my libido is really low which could mean low test and low t3 production ?)

If it's only been 5 weeks, I would just jump back up to maintenance for a few weeks and then slowly build from there. Weigh in every week, and adjust up when needed. At that low of calories you're not gonna be gaining too rapidly so no real worries either way.

Ok let's see how it goes and what about the watter weight do you know if there is any way to know how much watter weight we should gain by knowing how many carbs we add ?

No I don't, but to me that shit is irrelevant. You may be over thinking it. Just keep your water intake high and watch sodium and water weight shouldn't be that much of a factor.

Aight i'll try not to overthink it too much ! thank you :)

I would just continually add 25 grams of carbs per week on top of your current cutting intake and monitor your results from there.
