No workout today, just a rest day, walk the dog, etc.

Realized I started obsessing over the scale a bit much when that does no good given the wild fluctuations that can happen. Placing all the emphasis on the mirror now.

Scale will just be confirmatory diligence that I am in fact in an appropriate deficit.

No idea what I weigh this AM.

I am prepared to do 30 more days of pretty aggressive cutting...but then I'll need to pull back and eat maintenance for a bit.

I don't think I'll need more than 30 days to hit my leanness goal. I would say "physique goal", but we all know that's a fucking lie.

I'll never hit my physique goal.

It's the luscious hair plus physique that really gives that pop. Really threading the needles.

Yeah, I'm having a hard time grasping that when I come off I'll drop 5 to 10 more pounds of just water. But that's what everybody says...so I do hope that is the case, lol.
 
I really admire that you don't eat that shit at home and also don't have TV. My wife and I are going to be pretty strict about screens, "unnatural stimuli" e.g., stuff that evokes a disproportionate reward response and pollutes their reward system at a young age, healthy food, and all the other stuff you would kind of expect.

Have you observed differences in your children compared to their peers as a result of the limitations you have placed on TV, food, and other things (I imagine)? Positive, negative, neutral, etc, would love to hear a short tidbit

Oh, Geez. Don't even get me started. about differences. Behavior, respectfulness, intelligence, ability to hold a real conversation. Yeah. You will all laugh at this, though, one of my youngest (8) son's favorite snacks is chicken. Yes, you heard that right. So my wife will cut him up some grilled chicken, add a little side of BBQ sauce or ketchup for dipping, and he is quite happy.



That’s a sound plan until you leave them with the Grandparents. Then it’s cartoon time. Haha

LOL, yeah, we don't even try to put any limits at grandma's house. They get frozen waffles with syrup (typical store corn syrup with flavoring and color) and actually look forward to it as their breakfast at Grandma's house. But it is not like this is their normal eating habits, so I don't care. We are not extreme about things and do allow them to be kids and to have some things other kids eat, just not all the time or as normal dietary habits. We have chips and cookies and things in the house.

There is one set of friends they stay the night with regularly, and their kids stay with us sometimes, but whenever my kids come back from there, they claim that they did not have breakfast. After more questioning, we finally figured out that Pop Tarts were breakfast . . . every morning as normal. LOL. I had trouble even explaining that one to my kids. Yes, that is breakfast there. Eat one or go hungry at their house. LOL. My kids objected and still insist that is not breakfast.

It is really a case of a feminist mom and Pop Tarts is easier . . . curse of this nation.

Their kids are all wide eyed in the morning at my house as my wife brings bacon, eggs, toast, oats or cereal, sometimes biscuits, to the table in the morning. Like what is this alien behavior? Do women do that?

PS - on TV, we do have internet and streaming services. We even have a "family movie night." So my kids have seen, for example, Raiders of the Lost Ark and E.T. while munching on popcorn and relaxing on bean bags.

So they are not entirely deprived of screens and entertainment.

Just no cable and no turn on whatever the TV has.

Cartoons - And we have a whole set of Tom and Jerry on CD and one of the streaming services had the classic Scooby Doo series, so they got to see most of those (I am talking late sixties- early 70s, the new ones are garbage), and select new cartoons, too.

My physique today is something I never dreamed I would achieve. But now that I’m here, I want more.

There’s some lessons in that… but ultimately, the only way to truly hit your dream physique is:

1) fix your self perception
2) take hallucinogens / serotonergics (mushrooms in particular seemed to elicit this effect more) and then look into the mirror at yourself. Congratulations, you just saw what you really look like to others.
3) take copious amounts of gear and build a disgusting amount of muscle

Option 2 only lasts for a couple hours
Option 3 is fun but still forever smol
Option 1 is the only true way

But yes, DNP definitely works. Most things people tell you about are underwhelming. I assumed people were hyping DNP up; nope. It works, and it works really well.

I would much rather run it at 100mg per day even than 80mcg of clen, but I really hate clen

I didn't think any serious mass builders used it. Do you know anything about it being toxic ?? Does it feel like a dirty drug while you're on it?

First time using it. Serious mass builder would use it if they let a bulk go too far / get out of hand. But its utility comes from extending the time you can spend in a progressive phase.

Yeah, it’s got a very very small therapeutic window.

For me, 200mg daily barely felt like much. 400mg daily started to feel it. 600mg daily and I soak my bed every night without fail and need to move to the couch lol.

Best way I can describe? It takes your life force in a dose dependent fashion. Nothing to mess around with, and definitely make sure you have everything else dialed in.

How many calories are you eating a day more or less? What kind of deficit you running?
