I use armodafinil daily, yes. No, i haven't built tolerance to it's wakefulness promoting effects and I haven't felt the urge to escalate the dose one bit. Ghoul has some great info on the afinil and would encourage a read of the stuff he has posted about them.Oh! I did have one more question. You use the armodafinil daily right? Do you find that it builds tolerance? I ask because every other stimulant I've tried (caffeine, ephedrine, Ritalin, Vyvanse, Adderall, and, long ago, the most powerful and infamous of all) seems to build tolerance to the point where you take the drug just to get to the same level of alertness as your old baseline. Then in order to reset your tolerance you have to go off the drug and experience a period of reduced wakefulness/motivation/efficacy. So I suppose I view stimulants as zero sum: they just allow you to borrow energy from the future, a debt which eventually must be repaid.
I've used every stimulant drug knowingly, and then unknowingly the most infamous of them all, and my experience mirrors yours.
Afinil aren't typical stimulant drugs, however, they do have a mild amount of dopaminergic activity. Don't quote me, but I believe via reuptake inhibition, and not pure agonism.
Anecdotally, pretty mild but enough to make a difference.
I much prefer armoda in the AM and i'm able to cut caffeine consumption down drastically versus no armoda and caffeine consumption way higher. If you made me choose between caffeine and armoda, I would pick armoda every single time.
Fuck don't remind me...lol, I need to work on this little phenibut habit i've developed. Nothing crazy and I've been here a billion times. Soon as the bottle runs out i'll go back to not using it pre bed, sleep suboptimally for several days and be back to my normal lackluster sleep. The same could be said for sedatives, you borrow sleep from the future. Or opiates, you borrow comfort.
You can get armodafinil from any indian PCT vendor. 247 or pct.zone both have it. I don't recall the ins and outs of Flmodafinil, but I think it's worth procuring both modafinil and armodafinil if you actually want to give it a shot rather than basing experience off of Flmodafinil.I ask because I lack experience with the 'afinil' type drugs, and they work on different receptors (histamine agonist) rather than caffeine (adenosine antagonist) or amphetamines (adrenergic agonist). Curious, as always. Probably can't get armodafinil but can get flmodafinil, seems like it works pretty similarly.
Vyvanse was definitely most productive for me as well, with least abuse potential. Addy a close second. Dexedrine....just a wonderful and terrible drug at the same time lol. My favorite.Vyvanse was my favorite of all the aforementioned and IMO the best productivity aid that I've ever experienced, with Adderall a close second, but the price to mental and physical health is too high and for my addict brain these two are too difficult to control, especially Adderall. The afinils are supposedly less 'rewarding' to the dopamine circuitry of the brain, and seem to have less detriment to health
But agreed; benefits don't outweigh the positives for me. Every single time I start on them, I find myself in abuse territory very quickly. So I just have told myself it's afinils or nothing.
Afinils definitely less rewarding and you won't compulsively redose as there is nothing to gain. My preference for armodafinil comes from two things: 1) super long so it takes several hours to notice it and therefore i won't try and redose and 2) more dopaminergic than modafinil but also smoother and longer legs
