You may need to knock it down in mg and add more BB. Don't go past 15% if possible.

This may not mean anything but I always put the powder in the beaker and turn the hot plate on first but very low. You should be able to keep your hand on it. If the bb% calls for 15% like prop then I'll had 5% and wait. Turn the heat up just a little. The hotplate is not to hot to hold your hand on but wouldn't physically burn you.
I'll then swirl the 5% bb around until the BB has turned into a soft past or really thick solution from all the powder it's trying to dissolve. Then, I add a little oil to increase volume. Maybe 3-4ml out and of the total 100ml. I then turn the hot plate up a little more and I continue to stir or swirl the solution.
I continue this for 20mins. The powder may look like it's not dissolving but give it time, it will. Then I'll add my last of the bb which is 2ml-ish to make my 6-8% bb ratio. (Every batch is different)

You should always play with the method when making it. You could stumble upon something.

So adding oil before the solvent dissolves all powder is ok and doesn't slow/prevent the process? I saw on another board someone recommended powder, then solvent, then heat and to add oil after everything is dissolved. This is the method I used the second time and it went well but I still have lots of learning to do.

That's not what I said. I said solvent then oil. I applied heat to powder fist the BB and then oil.

I was a little confused by your last post as it sounds like you add powder, then put on heat, add a portion of the bb and stir, then add a portion of oil and add the rest of bb then oil? Or would you add powder, heat, all bb and then oil once dissolved?

Put the powder in beaker and heat it a little. It has a melting point and the closer you get to that the melting point the easier it will be to disolve. You add 3/4 of BB first or else the alcohol will evaporate during heating. Then I add a little oil and heat to about 115-120°F. This allows the it to disolve but when it cools it won't stay suspended so I add a little more BB. Then I add my BA and remaining oil and then filter. I'm basically trying to disolve the hormone with as little BB as possible. Hope that helps.

Get a heated magnetic stirplate and stirbar. The whole setup is around $100 and is worth it. Add powder, apply low heat as @TRT mentioned, add your bb and turn on magnetic stirrer. If there is not enough volume to make a nice tornado effect while mixing then add some oil and let the magnetic stirrer stir it for you. Walk away and come back 30 min later and see what it looks like. Add the remaining oil and turn off the heat and add ba the stir for 20 minutes on as high of stirring power as you can. Then filter

Where can you get the setup for 100$? I was planing to get one eventually but didn't want to drop 200+$ yet.

I must not have searched very well because I just found the cheaper ones. Is there a specific brand you recommend?
They are all pretty much made in china I think they just put different names on them. Some of the reviews on amazon say the ones with the figital readout are junk. I would get on with a rheostat for the heating element and for the stirrer and get either a cross or octogan stirbar. I would also get a stirplate that says it recommended for up to 2000 ml or double whatever your average brew is that way you know you jave more than enough power.
