They are all pretty much made in china I think they just put different names on them. Some of the reviews on amazon say the ones with the figital readout are junk. I would get on with a rheostat for the heating element and for the stirrer and get either a cross or octogan stirbar. I would also get a stirplate that says it recommended for up to 2000 ml or double whatever your average brew is that way you know you jave more than enough power.
This is literally the perfect comment as I know what to buy, except for one thing, is a rheostatthe knob you turn to adjust temp and stir rpm?
