TRT advice

Hello guys! I am somewhat addicted to this page over the last few months. I get on as many times a day as I can when I get a chance. There seems to be a lot of knowledgeable people and I would love some personal advice.
I am 36 years old. 6'1" 250 lbs. 15 % body fat. Have trained pretty consistently since my freshman year in high school. Last year I did my first cycle. Did a 10 cc vial of test c during an 8 week period. I loved how I felt and put on 10 pounds of weight and my bench went from 325 to 385.
I started TRT a month ago after my test count was at 300. I am already noticing a difference in strength and overall energy levels. My question is do you guys think it is worth doing TRT for the rest of my life or would you prefer doing a couple of cycles a year and then let natural levels take over when not cycling?

If you can get your natty test back to >500 then go natty, otherwise TRT is the route I would go.

It would be different if you were in your 20's, but at 36 not such a terrible thing to go on TRT for life.

^What he said... If the best you can do natty is 300, TRT might do you well. It's not convenient, but it's worth the hassle if you really need it. Now... what do you consider a TRT dose?

Right now I am in the early stages. I am on 1cc every 15 days. He wants me to do this for 4 shots then get more blood work. I don't think this is going to get me to the totals of 600-900 that I would like to reach. If not then me doc said we would do more often. Ideally what number should I try to be at? I know that all depends on the Doctor but I have known my doc for a long time and I feel pretty confident he will let me stay at the higher end of the average if I so choose. Thanks guys for the responses

The numbers are only a guideline so never forget that. Most seem to feel better, or at least think they do, in the mid to upper range of "normal". I dose for around 800 average just because...

Holysheepshit, whatkinda fucking Dr are you seeing? That has to be some kind of a record script. Are you keeping up with E2, or is he just winging it? I'd be leery of whether you're just a science experiment to him or if he has a bet with another Dr on who can run the highest numbers on their patients as these numbers just don't jibe with real world treatments.

I might be a science experiment. 2000 mgs of pellets resulted in bloods of 1000. Whe the next set where implanted she upped it to 2200 mgs. That should have resulted in 1100. It is said that stress and other factors could cause them to desolving faster. The stress in my life hit an all time high. Not sure if this caused a spike. I am getting a blood test tomorrow and will post results. I will know E2 levels also.

Got blood work back today. Been on 200 mg test cup every 15 days. Blood was taken after 12th day of last shot and I was at T-260. This was down from my natural levels of 300. Dr agreed to bump me to 200 mg every 7 days now. I am stoked!
