Your red blood cell count is too high, Hemoglobin also elevated. Seems like engine oil kind of blood. Any headache/migranes or BP issues? Should address that for sure. Your fasted glucose could also be better + the egfr should be monitored in the long term.

I'm donating this week, and try to every 3 months. I've dealt with high hemoglobin most of my life. I did start tirz 2.5mg per week, about 3 weeks ago after coming off sema 1mg weekly for about 6 months, maybe that has something to do with fasted glucose ? Egfr I will def keep an eye on. Thanks !

When donating, watch your Ferritin levels. GLPs like Tirza can lower the iron absorption which could make it worse.

I personally would always aim for a fasted glucose of 80, so keep your hba1c and homa index in check. Insulin resistance can be a pain in the ass.

Would also get your lipids checked, Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Triglycerides, ApoB and LipoA

Whats your bloodpressure like?

Okay thanks for the heads up. Fasted glucose is weird imo, Im fasting daily 16/8 and rarely eat any junk

I just had those checked in dec from family doc and they all came back good. Blood pressure is always spot on 120/80 ~ within 1-2 points depending

Wait…let’s back up for second. Your high fasting blood glucose you think is from taking Sema for 6 months? Doesn’t have the potential to make you go hypo if anything? Heard some doctors saying they patient using a CGM when they start them on Sema. Do I have all this backwards?
