TRT INJECTION FREQUENCY & AI (microdosing daily to combat E2)

I was prescribed 120mg/wk and she suggested I shoot it 2x per week. My test hit 760 with that dose. My E2 was just over 60. My doc wants me at 1,200 test. But before she increases my test dose she put me on anastrozole at 1x 1mg pill 1x per week (which seems strange to me instead of splitting that pill out into quarters throughout the week, but I digress). I took the liberty of shooting MWF, then EOD, and now ED. I’m curious how my next test will go. Is there evidence to suggest that ED injections mitigates the fluctuations and spikes in estrogen? I like it better and shoot HGH every morning anyway so it’s really NBD for me time wise...

I may have missed it, but I’m guessing this is Test C? If so, I can’t see the fluctuations being that drastic that ED injections are needed. I’m doing my TRT twice a week. Are you doing Sub Q or IM for your test? I’d be interested to hear if ED injections do help mitigate E2 issues.

Long post. Sorry. Doc prescribed Test E 60mg 2x/wk.

Right now I’m using Test C to burn through an old bottle of Citadel I had from a previous cycle.

Yes I do shoot subq. But I will say this whether it’s the carrier in my Citadel (Grape Seed Oil, Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Alcohol) vs the carrier in my Delatestryl (Sesame Oil, Chlorobutanol) the pip with the Citadel is greater. It’s also at 250mg vs the 200mg of Delatestryl...

I think with a straight Test ester (rather than a blend like Sustanon) then more frequent smaller doses will always give a smoother profile.

The problem is your chasing a dragon and the logical conclusion of that strategy is tiny micro doses several times a day every day of the week - which is ludicrous- but would produce the ultimate flat profile.

So now you are into a real world trade off between frequency and profile.

With that in mind on Test E for HRT, I would go 3x per week as the best balance between frequency and profile.

2x is allowing a much greater variance between peak and trough and 4x is sticking yourself another fifty two times a year for little benefit.

On the AI - that I would definitely be breaking up to 0.25mg chunks

With a long ester a 3 times per week schedule is about as far as I would take it. Any more than that and you're just making more scar tissue for little benefit.

And as far as your estro levels go, I'd say your doc probably has it all wrong. She wants you at 1200ng/dl total test??? Holy shit, who is your doctor? Hook me up! Typically all you need to be is "just" in range. What is her reason for this? It will only raise your estro, thus requiring more AI if keeping it ultra low is the goal.

Do you get estro sides in a bad way over a certain concentration? I ask as most that use TRT dont need an AI at all. Heck, I inject twice a week and my estro is a little bit on the high side but I dont need an AI. My total test I keep around 700-800 max. I prefer to keep the amount of test I inject per week on cruise low. Right now its about 150mg/week and no high estro sides to speak of.

But, we all react differently. So do what works best for you. But I'd drop the AI if you can get away with it.

Great questions guys.
At 120mg shot 2x per week at 60mg ea my e2 was at 60. I think that’s in range but on the tip of the high side.
My doc says that test numbers are just that - numbers. Based on my surveys and “feels” she thinks I’m going to feel “normal” or “at my best” at 1,200. Yes I know how lucky I am.
Problem is that I don’t see how I’ll get to 1,200 without an AI.
I guess time will tell.

I am on Delatestryl too for TRT. 100mg/wk split into 2xweek. Bloods come back around 1100 no AI needed my E2 is around 120pmol/L which is 33pg/mL.

Shit bro those are solid numbers all around!
Yes, good TRT numbers, but now my blast is all fucked up as you saw in other thread. Going for bloodwork on that tomorrow.

I know of a few people who inject subq daily with insulin syringes. I'm not sure it helps entirely avoid the ups and downs. You would have to do some trial and error. It's good in the sense that with Delatestryl at 200mg/mL you would be injecting around like 0.0857142857mL each day. So the small volume amount is good for subq. I would recommend buying the 0.3mL insulin syringes to be more precise if you decide to go with every day injections. Some people swear by it. Upper lateral thigh or lateral end of abs.

Gonna try that. Right now I have 1cc 28 ga 1/2” insulin needles. The pin size is right but you’re right the volume is hard to pinpoint at 4am. I need more anyway so I’ll buy them and give them a shot. Cheers.

Good luck with your blast too [emoji123]

Hate asking this but I’ve literally spent an hour looking for a 28g 0.3cc 1/2” pin and the only place I can find it is Alibaba and I’d need to buy 100,000 LOL

Can you refer me to a site?
