Yeah I've worked with tacp. I was in Benning.

Yeah your forward observers is pretty different from our mission. I would actually be attached to the ODA team or a Ranger QRF. I only went where they did. I would be their CAS guy. Sometimes it would be a CCT though. SOAR pilots are fukin nuts. They would fly in shit I didn't think was possible. Also if you were 75th it could of been a TACP. TACP HQ is at Benning. After graduating a TACP is sent to one of your batts at Hunter, Lewis, or Benning. Once your a 7 level you put in for JTAC school. The JTAC cert just means I didn't have to check with a higher rank to clear aircraft hot. As a TACP you can't give that order without authorization. Military makes everything confusing.

The JTAC is awesome, Can use it from a mobile phone. I had the JTAC program and a government samsung. lol
