I am liking all these ideas. I will have to try and visit most of these places and see where I land and stay.
You haven't truly lived life until you've been to North Dakota.....

Other than the shit weather sometimes, I love living in Canada.Canada, id move to Canada if I was in the US. Anywhere in the world I'd live in Squamish BC CANADA!!!! Outdoors recreation capital of BC and the west coast is the best coast. I drove my motorcycle to the mountains then skied then went mountain biking and ended it off with a beach date with my girl, can't find anywhere else like it
Some areas of texas.I understand the hate. It sounds racist to me, but the cost of living which is outside of the city & along with Texas from what state I reside in NJ is way cheaper (property & land) I could sale my house and get two houses & triple the land. That's my reason. Also I frequently travel to both
France is a shit hole economically.Would want to move to Utah. The most beautiful state I've been to. Tons of outdoor shit to do. Great skiing unlike the shit we ski on in the northeast. Asheville N.C. would be a close second. Anywhere in the world I would choose the Southern coast of France. Beautiful beaches, great weather and great food. Also topless beaches is a nice bonus.
Agree. But let's be honest. Economically most of Europe is a shit storm. I'm choosing based off of the assumption my ass could just retire there. Its funny you mentioned North Dakota. When I was told I had to TDY at Minot AFB I was pissed. I didn't want any part of that state. Its actually incredibly beautiful with very nice people. I was there in February and March and it was cold as fuk though. Was never able to get to Spain or Portugal when stationed overseas. Would like to check out Madrid.France is a shit hole economically.
I've been looking up places in Europe and Lisbon, Portugal seems very nice. Never been, but everyone rants and raves about the food and beaches. Weather sits around mid 80's

LMAO. When your from the northeast everyone else in the country is nice. I actually did find the western part of the state beautiful. Nothing there. But still nice. You and I have vastly different definitions of beauty and nice people...
I've never been to Finland but their economy is or was top 3 in the world last year. I can only imagine cost of living being ridiculous.France is a shit hole economically.

Have always wanted to check out a Scandanavian country. How was Finland?I've never been to Finland but their economy is or was top 3 in the world last year. I can only imagine cost of living being ridiculous.
I've never been. I asked my wife if she wanted to move. But it was a no go. I can land a huge paying job there. From DOD. Having been around a few 3-4 star generals on security detail when their stupid ass wants to walk the streets of a hostile war torn country.Have always wanted to check out a Scandanavian country. You should know the brass always likes those photo ops. LMAO. you could make some serious coin doing that if you wanted. My DOD job is boring as shit. I'm attached to the Inspector General side. Very boring investigative work. At least you know your wife's not in it just for the money. LOLI've never been. I asked my wife if she wanted to move. But it was a no go. Rant over. But I have them on my resume if I ever decide to back to work that route. If I wasn't married I'd be a Merc bro.
True. Fuck those photo ops bro. Those generals walk around with minimum protection. A shitty plate carrier and a fucking 9mm. They use the PSD team as their bullet catchers. Or at least they might think that. Once I left the conventional units of the army, it was awesome. We could do shit with an 8 man team that a company sized element couldn't do.You should know the brass always likes those photo ops. LMAO. you could make some serious coin doing that if you wanted. You didn't know Land Nav was a waste? GPS never goes down in the middle of fukin nowhere. LMAO. As a JTAC you know were with our ARMY brothers 90% of the time. Either with an ODA or the 75th batt. Sometimes one of our own STT'S on a CSAR. Have to admit some of your conventional units are filled with dumb fuks. One idiot from the 82nd asked me if I'd get yelled at if I messed up a danger close drop within 50 meters of my team. I said no. He asked why not. I said if I fukd up a 500 pound bomb drop within 50 meters I'd only be answering to God because we all just died in the explosion. LMFAO.True. Fuck those photo ops bro. Then again many of those soldiers felt like land nav was pointless because of GPS and blue force trackers. But they couldn't find their way out of a wet paper bag. That's when I knew conventional wasn't for me. I worked with JTAC a few times and on a training mission in NYC. Cool ass guys.

LMFAO!!!! The dumbass questions you get. Fucking epic. I will post vid of use preparing to invade a village. But we got some close air support to soften up the target by some little birds. You didn't know Land Nav was a waste? GPS never goes down in the middle of fukin nowhere. LMAO. Yeah your forward observers is pretty different from our mission. I would actually be attached to the ODA team or a Ranger QRF. I only went where they did. I would be their CAS guy. Sometimes it would be a CCT though. SOAR pilots are fukin nuts. They would fly in shit I didn't think was possible. Also if you were 75th it could of been a TACP. TACP HQ is at Benning. After graduating a TACP is sent to one of your batts at Hunter, Lewis, or Benning. Once your a 7 level you put in for JTAC school. The JTAC cert just means I didn't have to check with a higher rank to clear aircraft hot. As a TACP you can't give that order without authorization. Military makes everything confusing.75th is the Regiment. Battalions fall underneath that. Can't say I worked with JTAC... guess that would probably be the 13F department. But we were always riding 160th.
