URGENT: Nitric Oxide and Creatine

I was thinking of taking some BSN NO-XPLODE nitric oxide powder. It also has some creatine in it. I am currently taking a separate creatine supplement and was wondering whether taking both supplements will give me way too much creatine and give my liver a hard time. Please take in to account I am 17 years old, any help appreciated!! :D Thanks a lot. :D

My understanding is that you will just excrete any supplements your body can't use. However, I found out years ago while supplementing with creatine that it causes elevation of serum creatinine on blood work which usually indicates renal problems...so if you plan on blood work while supplementing with creatine make sure the doc who reads the results knows that. You may also have stomach issues if you use creatine monohydrate but the BSN supps use creatine ethyl ester so you should be ok on that count. See http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/koch1.htm

Hope this helps.

You can take both with no problems, the amount in NOEXPLODE is so tiny it won't hurt you at all.

You'll be good bro. When I was your age I took BSN NItrix, NO-Xplode, and Cellmass all at the same time and was fine. The only problem is is that when I was on the NO-Xplode, I had bought it when it first came out and there really wasn't too much information on how to take the supplement as far as how much to take on what days. I had found out that you aren't supposed to take it every day. My friends and I have had similar side effects from it and its almost like we are all immune to any type of energy drink or energy supplements.
