Using steroids just for the day of a competition.

Not exactly for a powerlifting competition, but an athletic one in which you need extra strength, and whatnot.
So let's say you have a football match every other week and you don't want to be on gear for the whole season, what would be the effects of, let's say, injecting a single dose of 100-150mg of Test P (or something else) a couple days before the match, in order to have elevated T levels during it. Would you notice the T and thus increased performance in sprints and whatnot? What would be the recovery period or how would this affect your natural T?, etc. What steroid compounds could be used this fashion for athletic/strength competitions?

Any recomendations for a cycle that would help me increase strength, power/explosiveness for athletic performance (cardio intensive too)? I was doing Test+Anavar, the shin pumps are painful though.

No, the answers were good, but someone told me to post it here since users here have more experience, else i would have been fine with that thread, more opinions are welcomed though.

I notice acute increases from test suspension and 20mg sublingual var. Chew then swish in you mouth for 10 minutes.

If your shin pumps hurt then lower the dose and add in potassium and taurine.
I tried potassium and taurine and they didn't work for the dose i was using (350mg/week of T), i guess i have to do some testing and tweaks.
Never done suspension, what would be the timing and how long would it last? Like, can i take it in the morning before leaving home and forget about it for the rest of the day? I prefer the input of someone who has done this and not rely just on half-lives and peak serum concentration studies.

TNE (Test no ester) or test suspension. Is about the only option here. Potentially halo but that could cause some stamina issues. I recommend an oil based version of TNE as they don’t hurt. That shit will get you through a rough day of competing.100-200 mg in the morning will Definitely improve performance. Probably suppress natural test levels but not much you can do there, I guess take a clomid the following day.
