USPS is ridiculously slow

Anyone else experiencing the same? Ordered on the 25th priority mail and hasn't moved since the 28th. Still "in transit" with delivery date unknown. Would calling the local post office do anything or is it just a waiting game? Also, what are the chances its a lost package

All mail systems are experiencing delays due to the lockdowns. Volume is very high, and many workers had to quit to take care of kids sent home from school. Also, some of the larger companies like Walmart are faking the shipping and holding the money until the package becomes officially late.

I wouldn't call or check on any pack. Just in case it was seized for some reason. I know that usually happens with customs but it does happen with the USPS also.
